It's really sweet that Claw (Elder Tlapo) has been sending various candidates for the past two centuries to weave the scroll in hopes of one of them becoming Citlali's new friend after Huitzilin passed away.
@Oddddddream I think they will, there's still unknown thing about her (for an easy example, why does she get a longer lifespan) and they could really easily make another quest about her to make her even more interesting, especially if what I think is foreshadowing is, in fact, foreshadowing. Btw if you want to know what I think is foreshadowing, it's the text about a girl that was with the first group that went in Ochknatlan, the one that was left behind and gave the keepsake to the npc that we accompagny during the world quest. There's 2 text written by the group to tell what I said just above, and 2 other text that are here just to develop the character, Liriwuu (don't know how to write that), the first one we see can be understandable I guess to show why she didn't accompagny the group to the end, but the second one is just here to talk more about the character and nothing else, which shouldn't be usefull for a npc that we never see, unless that npc is still alive. So yes, my theory is that this Night-wind little girl who was called to be a prodegy is in fact Citlali, and Citlali got her "immortality" somewhere in Ochknatlan, more preciously after dying once, why after dying ? She got a quote about dying and being on the back of a saurian. First why would she be on a back of a saurian if it was during a pilgrimage ? Secondly, did she ever do a pilgrimage ? She said in Mav quest that she doesn't normally participate in those type of events, and she isn't know for a big event or battle even though people fear her for her strengh. But why do I think Liriwuu IS Citlali, well first, the two want to look strong, Liriwuu tried to be strong even though she couldn't stay in a dangerous environment and because the people of her tribe put their hopes in her, Citlali keep trying to look strong for multiple reason, one is obviously to try to avoid people to get closer to her, and the second one is a bit harder to see but I think it's because she has a low self worth, you can see it in her tribe quest, when she tried to lift the spell that allowed her to read the traveler mind she started to panick when she couldn't do it and keep thinking that she should be able to do that because of her rank, she thought she wasn't succeding not because of something else but because of herself, even though she knew it was an easy spell and something like that happening shouldn't happen if everything is normal. Something else from her tribe quest, at the end with her friend (can't remember her name, my brain is bad), she already knew that the spell she learned from her was her friend masterpiece, but the only reason she didn't want to believe it is that for her, it didn't made sense that she was the one to be allowed to have it and not one of her friend apprentice, she thought she didn't deserve it. Another argument for that, in the first scroll, we learn that Liriwuu is excited to go in an expedition, since she's a kid it's understandable but that still show a love for adventuring. Why is it connected to Citlali ? Because during the event, when she gives the traveler the map to the jiva... Thingy mabop land that disappeared, she said something that hinted at her knowing how it feel travelling new environment (don't remember the full sentence), but she's a shut in, why would a shut in know that feeling except if she went to explore a dangerous place herself when she was younger, and there's no really dangerous place in Natlan except Ochknatlan (and we can also rule that it would have been later because she said that even though she had a lot of opportunity to go to the jiva thingy, she never went, and that's like the second place that can be fun adventuring for people from natlan). But why is that adventuring part important you might say, especially that if she liked the feeling of adventure, why wouldn't she go travel in the jiva thingy ? Well, simple actually, because of trauma, and I think that the trauma of losing the people that she was with in their quest, later failling to protect the daughter of one of the friend in the exploration and dying herself started her shut in habit and alcoolism, and even later with the death of her friend we see in her tribe quest was the Citlali's breaking point when she decided to getting friend was too painfull for her when they would inevitably die (and that's also why she tried to distance herself from the traveler in the flying balloon scene when she said she wasn't ready to be his/her friend). Sorry for the wall of text, I had it in my mind for way too long and you had to become the one that gets attacked with it, hope it was good read at least.

I’m so glad people are coming around more to Citlali after her story quest. Life is supposed to be a gift, and when you’ve lived as long as Citlali and experienced as much repetitive loss as she has, she just wanted one friend this supposed “gift” won’t take away from her just for existing. Such a well written character

and aldo, the real hero in simulanka wasn't the traveler, it was scaramouche, an (ex) fatui harbringer in natlan the real hero was capitano, a fatui harbringer simulanka really was just a way to tease natlan and i love how they did it
The only thing left is the dissolution of the Ode of Resurrection just like in the music box kingdom, although they would have to make the ode more trouble than its worth to keep it. I suppose that would be in Mavuika’s SQ2. I can see it being made into a problem for Natlanese when they go out of Natlan perhaps.

Although Citlali looks angry and a bit violent, deep inside she is a lonely girl who just wants to find a friend by her side, and that is when the traveler appears
I was not really expecting much from Citlali Quest, but it was really inspiring to see the "confrontation" between Citlali trying to distance herself from other, since she don't want to suffer from when they inevitably disapear like flower and the Traveler telling that since they will not stay as long as both of them do, well we need to get close to them as much as we can to remember them. Really made me deeply thaught about the few people i miss already and to share a bit more time with those i still have.
This cutscene was insanely beautiful. Immortality or long life is really cruel if you are the only one. I really like that they finally for once acknowledged and talked about Traveler's longevity and how they dealt with it with Citlali. Absolute top notch Story Quest.
Citlali is such an amazing character. I just loved her story quest and the fact she learned and grew from it was amazing! Huitzilin was honestly a true and amazing friend to her, never wanting her to be lonely and just did whatever it took to make sure she stayed her friend, it's just funny how Citali and Huitzilin's pupils/descendants never caught onto that all she did was to gain Citali's attention and be her friend. Huitzilin also had a very beautiful design, I love it! Also the animation was really beautifully animated and all the colors just make it eye-candy!

Very beautiful. I love Natlan, the characters have so much depth, unlike Fontaine. (Fontaine had Furina, Navia, and Neuvillette, Lyney kinda, but the rest of the cast suffered badly due to the story overly focusing on them. Natlan has not taken the focus away from Mavuika but has given each character a chance to shine, both limited units and 4*. It has been such a wonderful version so far. ❤
You know what I really love about this? Its this time traveler actually gives insight/thoughts of not "traveler of tevyat" but "traveler of many worlds" if that make sense. I feel like I peaked a little of who traveler was before falling to this world.

You know what I really love about this? Its this time traveler actually gives insight/thoughts of not "traveler of tevyat" but "traveler of many worlds" if that make sense. I feel like I peaked a little of who traveler was before falling to this world.
