- Hey all! Happy New Year! I am a non-US IMG currently in the interview trail with a low step 1 score and let me just share with you things I did differently from my Step 1 to Step 2 CK study giving me an almost 40-point jump in scores. This is a continuation of my video in overcoming a low step 1 score and still getting interviews despite it. This is not a 270s story but I hope this still helps if you are like me who felt devastated by a low step 1 score.

Congrats on matching into IM. Saw it on your bio. How many months did you study for Step 2ck?
I hope I can pass USMLE I Don't haves a job,I am 36 years old all my dreams related to USMLE,if I can choose between my life and USMLE I would choose USMLE
I've always believed USMLE is not all about studying, you need God's grace to pass
So sorry about that am still looking forward too take my USMLE exam on June just studying hard and praying to God I know I can make it.
USMLE exam is so difficult & I don't know the reason why it should be?
After, 3-4 years of studying we are being challenged be the ultimate exam "USMLE" many students face difficulties in acquiring their license
I failed my USMLE exam 2 times first was 2020 second was 2021 and I lost money on review questions and also wasted a lot of time studying which never helped me .
Very impressed with your videos and the organization and clarity of them. I can perceive the genuine desire to help that you have as well as your honesty, I congratulate you and you are an example for many, thank you. Dr. Julio Acosta
I would like to let you know my study plan for the S2CK ...
Thank you for sharing your experience and congratulations on passing with such great score. Could you please share how long after taking step one you started studying for Step 2 and how long did it take to study for Step 2?
Hello! Thanks so much for your kind words! It took around 7 months for my study cause it was more than a year gap since I took step 1 due to family issues.
Awesome video, did you use any of the premade Anki decks?
Thanks so much for that! I did use tzanki for IM but I didn't focus on using anki during my dedicated.
What tests did you take for your simulation days? I've taken NBME9 and UWSA2, stll have NBME 10,11 and UWSA1 left...
Congratulations . In dedicated when you were doing 3-4 blocks a day did you read entire uworld explanations or just the incorrect question explanation ?
So in my notion notes, I tag some topics as "weak topics". For those topics, incorrect, and those that I wasn't sure of the answer but got it right anyway, I read the whole explanation. For others, I just read the summary to refresh myself.
How many weeks did you prep for step 2? How long was your dedicated period? Thank you so much for infos.
I started reviewing for it Sept 2020 then my dedicated around January 2021 and took the exam March 2021.
Thank you for the informative video! Did you do any CMS forms for your step 2 prep?
Thank you so much for your kind words. Yes, I used CMS for IM, obgyn, peds, and surgery. I talked about that in more detail in this video ruclips.net/video/EOHFFi-o59g/видео.html. You can jump to 08:47 timestamp for CMS forms.
