Started filming Angelie play Dance Dance Revolution (DDR) at Main Event Entertainment (Shenandoah TX location) for her class project when we started to notice more and more people watched her play. This is the last part of the video for Project DDR. Just wanted to make it's own upload so people don't have to go through the 17 minute version.

I can pretty much confirm this is 100% true. While I was playing SuperNOVA in New Roc City the other day, quite a few families stood behind me as I gave myself a workout playing nothing but 9-footers on EXPERT. Honestly, with DDR being around for almost twenty years, you'd think they would know that this game is easy once you get into the swing of things.

On a school field trip we went to an arcade. And with me being familiar with ddr, I played some songs, easy songs. With just the slightest movement I got a crowd around me of my classmates and some random people and they were going apeshit, and a person that I talk to sometimes let me get something from the vending machine using his money.
I was playing legend of max on difficult.

The wallwalk is a hard one to pull off. Or matrix. Being a DDR performer is not only just a game. It is about performing and entertaining the crowd like any other dance choreography out there. The difference is that you got a platform to express and create routines that inspire and amaze and bring an atmosphere that people want more. It is something that isn't lost since it's introduction in 1998 and now still withstands the test of time.

For everyone that goes to main event, the one in illinois that has pump infinity, BUY A GAME CARD WITH TIME ENABLED. After that, swipe tour card ad many times as possible before it expires. (You may need to swipe on another machine if it gives you too many consecutive plays error) You will then if done right 15 credits in the machine.

Props to freestyle players. In essence that's where a good chunk of the secret fun is. As opposed to the super pro step dudes who play for accuracy and speed - impressive but not as "fun-looking." But I'm too much of a stiff-ass to try freestyling dance moves in public...while trying to hit arrows. I've been relegated to a simple step player 😂
