Palmer in that one Machina`bridged is kind of a idiot, but Palmer in actual game is probably the 2nd most redeemable on the Shinra board of directors, even if its very far below Reeves himself. Though its honestly hard for me to remember if Palmer ever had any REAL misdeeds tacked to his name to put them on the sharp end of a Cross-slash combo. Besides trying to steal Cid`s airplane in the original version and him trying to capture the `terrorists` while acting like an absolute buffon in that one frog mech in Rebirth. Oh and of course `luring` the crew onto a rocket to send them to space, but likely since Cid got his dream to goto space, its ironically a blessing in disguise really. Kind of hoping with part 3 they make sure to not skip out on Rocket town and Wutai of course, since they did kind of a rush hour at the end of part 2 by skipping the excavation town, plus the dungeon part of the land of the ancients to just have the temple, forest and lost city go back to back ASAP.
I think it's a combination, where sometimes Reeve has to try and corral this Scottish cat with a will of its own, but then most of the time he and his magic robot cat are perfectly in sync, gleefully screwing over his shitty coworkers.
Cait enthusiastically screaming at Rufus' dead body through his megaphone that him being short is what keeps him from forming meaningful relationships at point blank range is the absolutely funniest thing to me.
@@rubyred6169have you seen Cait Sith’s limit breaks? I don’t remember which one but for one of them he tosses out a mystery box and random stuff comes out of it. One of the things that can come out is a fat chocobo which will crush the enemy so I think it was referencing that one
I wonder who Barret and Cloud would be. Maybe both are fighters. Cloud is an Eldritch knight to be more of a balanced guy. Barret could be a Champion to be jacked and "shoot harder".

I mean, every video game RPG was inspired by D&D in some way. Final Fantasy has more of a right to it though, because they ripped the AD&D monster manual off wholesale, but it also has Dragon Quest to thank, which has Wizardry and Ultima to thank, which have D&D to thank.
