Roger Carter was asked by Tama Drums to perform at their 50th anniversary event accompanied by Broken City, something we wanted to do again for the Broken City Premiere (where he was personally asked to do it again). The members also played this again by themselves for the encore. They were all stoked about everything.
@BZDrummer1 Carter just spends a lot of time playing drums around the ensembles he is affiliated with. I've gone back and forth a number of times between "this seems fun for the kids and audience" and "that's a lot of focus away from the ensemble"
@@WhatAreDrums729also carter started playing the drumset with his ensemble because some events don't allow a met because it's too loud. So he used it as a timekeeping thing. But he's progressively been getting more and more involved
Roger is a genius! Broken city over the top👏👏👏👏😮😮

broken city at a whole new level this year
Not sure how I feel about Roger Carter. He is an impressive player, but let the kids have the spotlight.

@BZDrummer1 Interesting! I'd assumed this was some kind of family-and-friends show. Thanks for filling me in!
