I hated that Clay told the producers that he wasn’t deeply in love with AD and that he was unsure of her finances, and that’s why he said he couldn’t go thru with it. But then goes to AD and tells her it’s him, not her and he’s still rocking with her. And kept kissing her. YUCK! 🤮 They’re both confused! 🙄
In that moment, I saw their relationship dynamic clearly - he tells her one thing but he feels the opposite way. The only people that Clay loves is himself and his daddy.
The part about finances was so gross and untrue. He just wasn’t ready from the get go and he has a lot more growing and maturing to do before he can deeply be in love with anybody. When he talked about looks and post baby body 🤮

However, if it was a main point of contention in their relationship, we would have seen more emphasis on finances and what part of AD’s financial situation is troubling for Clay - like with one couple from last season where one guy had bad credit or something and the fiancée was very successful. Clay only mentioned AD’s finances after the altar and never addressed those issues with her on camera and didn’t mention it when he went back to talk to her - all that together adds up to him making excuses, not actual reasons.

AD liked what Clay represented, a good looking successful man. She never really listened to what he was saying where we could all tell he wasn’t ready. I’m happy he didn’t say I do and waste more of her time. She just wanted to be married and chosen.

I don't think Clay is genuinely attracted to AD. I think he's physically attracted to her *body* and likes all the emotional labor she does for him, but he's not actually attracted to her as a person. I don't even know why Clay even came on this show. He knew he wasn't ready for a committed relationship with anyone, let alone a marriage.

My heart broke when Rita mentioned she discovered his infidelity trips during the experience/show to Daddy Suave. She had every right to discuss that with him despite already being divorced because that was new info that she didn’t even know. The fact that he kept that from her and the only way she found that out was on TV by her son is sad. Daddy suave is a waste-men, and I’m glad Rita clocked him on his impact on her son.
Clay's Mum is the true hero in this episode, she was so calm but she delivered some real wisdom in that scene after the wedding. I also loved the way she still reached out to hug AD as she was leaving. AD missed all the red flags and got so caught up in the wedding she wasn't looking ahead to the marriage but I'm sure she will be just fine, she's young and beautiful...she will get her happy ending. I was disappointed in Clay's dad. His "pep talk" was trash. I hope Clay's dad comes correct to help Clay heal and kudos to mom for saying what needed to be said. Do right by that boy! I hope AD learned that you CANNOT build a man and make him ready for marriage. AD could have walked away, even before the proposal. Clay needs alot of work and that was obvious to anyone watching. AD needs to understand that getting into a relationship is about building a future together and not repairing someone's past.

But how is it that y’all expect a child to tell on his dad as proof that he’s a “Mama’s Boy”? He does indeed love his mother, that’s probably why he never said anything to her about the cheating as a child because he didn’t want to break up his family. Telling your mother about your father’s escapades is too much to put on a child - or even a young adult. And we can see how devastating the whole thing is/was for Clay because he is still dealing with that trauma, talking about it constantly on national tv as he tries to work through what it all means about him and about his family dynamic.

Clay did not surpise me! Clay knew the whole time. I NEVER believed Clay. Every time he talked abt his problems, I said he setting her up for a NO! All of his telling was a way out. I didn't know when he was going to pull that card out as an excuse. I font buy any of Clays s story telling. It was always a way out for him. Honestly those stories should have prompted Clay to want to be A Better Man. That boy stood in AD'S face and lied to her! He is a player. Got the trip and all the sex he wanted and fell back! Amy's wedding color scheme was soo beautiful! Im not a big fan of pastels but hers looked like a visual representation of spring or Easter 😂. Very warm and inviting.
Please also take note of how Clay *only and only* talked about AD's positives in reflection of him or how he benefited. Never once of who or her character is independent of him. Or even highlighting what he wanted to do for her or be for her. Clay all day!
The contract leak that happened last year spilled the secret sauce. They are contractually obligated to show up at the altar or risk being fine up to $50K. They are only suppose to say no at the altar unless they get permission to leave early. I would bet money production strong-armed Jimmy to staying longer for content. I have been wanting to express my distaste for that dress (for a bride). It did fit her well, and if it were another color she could wear it at the club. A wedding dress can be sexy but it should also be tasteful. The whole extended family is usually there and they don’t need to see that sky high slit.

Clay isn’t the only one who needs therapy, AD needs to be in there as well. She likes to attract struggle love and only sees what she wants to see. She wants the image of marriage but doesn’t have the patience or emotional intelligence to understand what goes into building a strong relationship.
Most kids over the age of 13 will not tell the other Parent about what the other parent has done. Mainly because most kids don't want the Parents/Family to breakup. It's a tough situation to be in. I feel for any child put in that position. His Mom has to process that hurt all over again, I pray she can continue to heal. I would've loved to have had a Father like Amy because that is exactly what I needed to understand Men and be emotionally stable in my past relationships. She's Blessed and I believe because both her and Johnny have stable families they will be just fine.

AD already told Clay that she wanted to honour the experiment and was not interested in leaving as an unmarried couple after the wedding. The fact that he spoke at the alter as if it was a given that they would continue should tell AD everything she needs to know about how much he respects her. He heard her needs, didn't take them seriously and continued with the attitude Tammy has mentioned: "What can AD do for ME?"

During Chelsea and Jimmy’s last date I really paid attention to how Chelsea registered what he was saying. He listed the issues they’ve had, including crossing some boundaries. Big goofy really said “you’re gonna break up with me over one thing”. She also tried to back track and said her ex isn’t her best friend.
Chelsea should be happy that Jimmy didn’t take her all the way to the altar just to say no. That would have been worse and it showed that he respects her enough to not embarrass her unlike Clay. I feel sorry for AD because she doesn’t get it. Chasing a man with red flags will never lead to a happy ending. Hope she works on this in therapy. The scene with Clay’s parents showed that a good woman cannot fix a broken man. You will never be good enough for them especially because they’re extremely selfish. Let this be a lesson to other women out there (including myself).

Honestly this all ended exactly the way I believe it was supposed to go. However, if it was a main point of contention in their relationship, we would have seen more emphasis on finances and what part of AD’s financial situation is troubling for Clay - like with one couple from last season where one guy had bad credit or something and the fiancée was very successful. Clay only mentioned AD’s finances after the altar and never addressed those issues with her on camera and didn’t mention it when he went back to talk to her - all that together adds up to him making excuses, not actual reasons.

My heart broke when Rita mentioned she discovered his infidelity trips during the experience/show to Daddy Suave. She had every right to discuss that with him despite already being divorced because that was new info that she didn’t even know. The fact that he kept that from her and the only way she found that out was on TV by her son is sad. Daddy suave is a waste-men, and I’m glad Rita clocked him on his impact on her son.

Clay's Mum is the true hero in this episode, she was so calm but she delivered some real wisdom in that scene after the wedding. I also loved the way she still reached out to hug AD as she was leaving. AD missed all the red flags and got so caught up in the wedding she wasn't looking ahead to the marriage but I'm sure she will be just fine, she's young and beautiful...she will get her happy ending. I was disappointed in Clay's dad. His "pep talk" was trash. I hope Clay's dad comes correct to help Clay heal and kudos to mom for saying what needed to be said. Do right by that boy! I hope AD learned that you CANNOT build a man and make him ready for marriage. AD could have walked away, even before the proposal. Clay needs alot of work and that was obvious to anyone watching. AD needs to understand that getting into a relationship is about building a future together and not repairing someone's past.

The more I listened to AD speak she is very young minded. Everything was about looks and it quotes they never had in depth conversations unless clay talked about his daddy cheating.

But how is it that y’all expect a child to tell on his dad as proof that he’s a “Mama’s Boy”? He does indeed love his mother, that’s probably why he never said anything to her about the cheating as a child because he didn’t want to break up his family. Telling your mother about your father’s escapades is too much to put on a child - or even a young adult. And we can see how devastating the whole thing is/was for Clay because he is still dealing with that trauma, talking about it constantly on national tv as he tries to work through what it all means about him and about his family dynamic.

Amy's wedding color scheme was soo beautiful! Im not a big fan of pastels but hers looked like a visual representation of spring or Easter 😂. Very warm and inviting.
Please also take note of how Clay *only and only* talked about AD's positives in reflection of him or how he benefited. Never once of who or her character is independent of him. Or even highlighting what he wanted to do for her or be for her. Clay all day!

Clay isn’t the only one who needs therapy, AD needs to be in there as well. She likes to attract struggle love and only sees what she wants to see. She wants the image of marriage but doesn’t have the patience or emotional intelligence to understand what goes into building a strong relationship.

Most kids over the age of 13 will not tell the other Parent about what the other parent has done. Mainly because most kids don't want the Parents/Family to breakup. It's a tough situation to be in. I feel for any child put in that position. His Mom has to process that hurt all over again, I pray she can continue to heal. I would've loved to have had a Father like Amy because that is exactly what I needed to understand Men and be emotionally stable in my past relationships. She's Blessed and I believe because both her and Johnny have stable families they will be just fine.
Clays dad is despicable for what he did I do feel bad for Clay in that he had a horrible example but I agree he needs therapy to heal what a mess!

The best thing about this season was the mothers of Clay, Jaremy and AD. These women are classy queens.
AD already told Clay that she wanted to honour the experiment and was not interested in leaving as an unmarried couple after the wedding. The fact that he spoke at the alter as if it was a given that they would continue should tell AD everything she needs to know about how much he respects her.
He heard her needs, didn't take them seriously and continued with the attitude Tammy has mentioned:

i was rolling my neck and pointing my finger at the screen when Clay’s mother got his father together for saying Clay needs to find a woman like her “you didn’t even treat me right”. tell him momma!!! no telling the trauma she relived after finding out Clay was brought along on those cheating trips as a kid. all those years later. i’m guessing Clay talked to her once he aired that info out during filming.
Clay NEVER should have let it get all the way to the altar. AD's body language while walking to the altar told me everything. Here she is in a THOT dress, yet she had her shoulders shrugged down almost as if she's trying to hide and make herself smaller. She had ZERO confidence, yet she still said yes. I've said this sooo many times....she leads with her sexuality...her body, not who she is on the inside.

choosing to own your own sexuality does not give others permission to objectify you. While I don't think the dress fit her well (I don't think the slit was *supposed* to be that high up...), essentially slut-shaming AD is just as tacky as what people are saying her dress makes her.

During Chelsea and Jimmy’s last date I really paid attention to how Chelsea registered what he was saying. He listed the issues they’ve had, including crossing some boundaries. Big goofy really said “you’re gonna break up with me over one thing”. She also tried to back track and said her ex isn’t her best friend.
Chelsea should be happy that Jimmy didn’t take her all the way to the altar just to say no. That would have been worse and it showed that he respects her enough to not embarrass her unlike Clay.
I feel sorry for AD because she doesn’t get it. Chasing a man with red flags will never lead to a happy ending. Hope she works on this in therapy.
The scene with Clay’s parents showed that a good woman cannot fix a broken man. You will never be good enough for them especially because they’re extremely selfish. Let this be a lesson to other women out there (including myself).

Amy's father is such a sweet man. Those families are so lovely....definitely worth the watch, definitely shed actual tears and i didnt care for them all that much before.

Honestly this all ended exactly the way I believe it was supposed to go. I respected Clay for being honest about the fact that he wasn’t ready, but everything about him from the beginning said that he never should’ve signed up for the show in the first place. Both him and AD need to do some inner work…separately. Also Clay’s mom is the MVP of the season, that’s it that’s all!
