Thats very true. I think what creates that fear is the limited production on some items. But i feel like u can always find it at a decent price if ur patient and look around. But even if thats not the case, I think if u really want something ull pay for it. For Marvel Legends, never pay more than retail, I am blessed that I work at Target, and I get them discounted, but I don't scalp or resell. Amazon is amazing they always got deals and free shipping with Prime. BBTS is mixed feelings for me because I got a good chunk of figures from their clearance sale. Mafex is overpriced in BBTS, so I usually maybe get Marvel Legends and BBTS exclusives.
Oooo lucky u. I wish I worked at Target just to have that access to when the new figs drop! And ur right amazon always has good deal specially with the like new open boxes because they're new just maybe a little damaged and sometimes not really damaged at all for a discounted price! There are some things overpriced tho. Mercari is a good one too bcus sometimes ppl will let things go for really cheap. The only downside is the high buyer fees. It always racks up the price and takes from the sellers pockets. And yes bbts is best for exclusives. Sorry for the late reply I'm still trying to get the hang of this. 😅
