My comment on garbage was the Swiss points , l really like the gen 7’s I have owned since may, I have the 26 gram darts, I have broken 8 tips since then , never broke a conventional point and I have been playing pub darts for over 30 years, right now I am using my gen 5
Those darts are totally made for me, mainly because i copied Taylor's throwing style in 2017, it works out for me so well, i still play with the gen 4's but these are without a doubt worth a try.
I ordered these last Monday I haven't got them yet Target is very smart in what they do because we all know Phil is just a two-finger player and he throws from the stem they will sell a lot of darts with a lot of different grips over the years but it won't make a difference to him because it's all going to be from the stem I love the finish on these I did not like the black ones because it just came off after a week thanks Darren as always appreciate the review👍
Your comment about the weight of this dart and ease of throw caught my ear. I'm trying to figure out what weight I like. I've got darts from 19-23g. I just ordered a 24g Datadart Orion Ringed (changed it from 22 to 24 at the last minute). This dart obsession is getting out of control ....
LOL yeah its a process to find what you like but I guarantee you will get a dart you think will not suit you buy will end up throwing great with it at some point lol :)
I have always like the way the Power95s look, but they’re simply not my type of barrel, at all…I am also too cheap to bust out a $100 for darts I would just put on the wall, but I certainly see the appeal and like them. Thanks for review, Darren mate.
Cracking darts. The coated rings remind me of the Winmau Archangel darts. The fact you can get them near target with them darts and tiny flights is pretty awesome Darren xD
Cheers mate, I think its because I had been using the Predators with the small L Style Bullet flights but feels harder with these Taylors and the small flights, was throwing quite well with them after the video though, which is often the case lol but had 3 140's but think its going to be hard getting a 180 with them for me as the darts kind of angle to the left and makes it hard to see any space in the bed :)
@@DartsReviewChannel i feel you there. I use kites or pears with my darts, and when I tried previous Taylor darts, I get the same result. They can hit target but they are so unstable, really no margin for error with release on these with that tiny set up.
@@Boom12 yeah thats right, guess they make for a good training tool but I think they suit harder throwers better especially with a flatter arc through the air, as for Taylor I think its just he has a super consistent release so probably lot more stable to him lol
@@DartsReviewChannel excellent review as always! Agree with you on pricing, what comes in the box when compared to a like-priced item from unicorn is very disappointing but its not going to stop me getting them. You gave me all the information needed to know that they are for me. See you in the next one
Quite an unusual design this one. Those flights are way too small. I would imagine the shafts are pretty expensive. I prefer his generation 6 dart. This one has very little grip. Nice review Darren. Many thankd
Takes a bit of getting used to the tiny flights, the more I play with them though I can see improvement but I just end up going back to my standards lol
As a beginner lots start with heavier weight but if you look at soft tip players they start with light weights and use light all the time, so I dont think its a matter of which is easier to throw its just down to what the individual feels most comfortable with and you can get used to any dart if you practice with it long enough, but I started with 28g and now tend to throw 23g mostly if thats any help :)
I didn't see any point in making any adjustments in either direction. Ive been throwing mostly 24g, but sometimes if I see something I like that doesn't come in 24g, I'm willing to drop a gram or two here and there. I'd say my lower limit is around 21g, and I'll flat out refuse a dart with 25g or higher barrels.
LOL I played with them for longer afterwards got 3 140's but with those tiny flights the darts kept landing at an angle which made it awkward, dont think they are for me, just too small and my throw is just not suited to them :)
Great video, have the Generation 6 but don't see much difference so won't be buying these. The Bolide BL 05 are better(better grip) , cheaper & also with the Swiss Point. I always play with short or extra short stems depending on the barrel. I ordered the Missions Quadrant M3 23gr. today ;-)
I always wanted to try a Phil Taylor dart but There is no dart shop near me! I am certainly NOT going to buy a set on line at these prices just to try them. I think this version looks really nice. That ugly orangey/red color on the box and the flight is puke 🤮. I’m really surprised just how vertical they land! Near miss on your max attempt 🤏 Your nice gallery made the darts look very elegant even with those ugly flights! Cheers from New York!
@@DartsReviewChannel My favorite shafts are still the Target Pro Grip (37.5mm), which last the longest, maybe not the cheapest, but if they last long they are well worth it.

I have over 80 sets.! Enjoy the journey!
Sir Darren if you notice to the g7 the dimensions of the barrel is similar to the gen4
yeah true :)
Im planning to buy that set. For collection and sometimes use them for a throw

Love these darts
Best version so far 😊
Gen 3 for me. I would need to put a longer stem on these.
G3 were worst for me lol

Thanks Brad 😉👍
Been waiting on this review, hoping to get these for Christmas
Hope you like it ☺️

Thanks mate 😊 yeah stems not cheap but you can use any, same goes for flights too 😊
The darts look great! Only thing is the barrel looks too familiar to the gen 6 darts. Would be great if they designed a more different dart!
It's similar but when you look at them both closer you can see the difference 😊
That's true! It looks like a combination of the gen 4 and gen 6 darts I think!
yeah closest to gen 4 in dimensions and grip style I think :)
I cant stand that other guy that films all day to get a 180 then goes boom an acts like he does it every throw! Lol. Your channels the best by far!!
You mean the ego p.dough
Thats the one!!
Nice review again Daz. I'd like to give them a bash but too expensive to take a risk on!!
Thanks mate, yeah sadly a lot will feel same way, shame as its a very nice dart :)
Probably Taylor’s best looking dart, i think these darts are really good to throw just the flights are horrendous
Takes a bit of getting used to the tiny flights, the more I play with them though I can see improvement but I just end up going back to my standards lol
@@DartsReviewChannel I’ve bought all of the taylor darts with the weird flights and I always take them off within 3 throws 😂
Lol
Looking forward to this :)
Hope you like it then ☺️
How would you compare these to the Phil Taylor phase 5s?
quite similar
Really tempted get these
Are you getting some then? :)
What do most people find easier to throw, heavier or lighter darts?

Gen7 or Gen9 darren? Which is better? Wanna buy one of them
both good really not a lot to choose between them
@@DartsReviewChannel thx! Taking gen7
Gen 2 still the best looking for me
Hello! Which stem size come with these ? Is the short, intermediates or medium? thank you
Was the short from memory :)
@@DartsReviewChannel thank you! 👍

Thanks Luca and hello 👍😊
Love the reaction on the 180 attempt 🤦♂️🤣
LOL I played with them for longer afterwards got 3 140's but with those tiny flights the darts kept landing at an angle which made it awkward, dont think they are for me, just too small and my throw is just not suited to them :)
@@DartsReviewChannel i see...why dont you change this flights for this review
I sense a 180 is just around the corner. All the best. Cheers
been close a few times afterwards, bit frustrating though lol Cheers mate! :)
10:43 This is so familiar to me 😂
Lol 😊
Nice darts... though I still prefer the G4 or G5 ✌
These are closest to G4 I think 😊
I need these
Great video, have the Generation 6 but don't see much difference so won't be buying these. The Bolide BL 05 are better(better grip) , cheaper & also with the Swiss Point. I always play with short or extra short stems depending on the barrel. I ordered the Missions Quadrant M3 23gr. today ;-)

Can I play this Darts with normal shafts?
yeah
Throwing well again Darren 🤔 too short for me. Being so front biased do they stand up horribly? Thanks for the great review 👍
Thanks Vic, with those tiny flights it's lucky they hit the board for me lol😜
Nice..
Got these darts coming I have a problem hahaah

In your oppinion these darts are better than the gen4 ones?
for me I think so but not with the tiny flights they come with :)
I do not think Taylor ever won a world championship after he left the 47 mm length and 6.3 mm width barrel.
I expected them to be a lot more expensive tbh
Still pricey but they kept them more reasonable than they could have been I guess :)
A Robin Hood in the shafts kost a fortune.
Don't have to use the same stems though 😉
@@DartsReviewChannel
My favorite shafts are still the Target Pro Grip (37.5mm), which last the longest, maybe not the cheapest, but if they last long they are well worth it.
❤❤❤
The replacement stems are £15 😮. Are they robust or will the plastic part still snap when hit with a dart?
Only the bottom part will last, the screw in tops break easy
@@DartsReviewChannel ah ok thanks at least they are not too expensive
Keeping the dollars coming in is old phillip
He will still doing so even when he has gone I think ☺️
Amazing looking dart, not my style of barrel at all,and indeed not many people can handle those flights. .........that illusive 180........
They take some getting used to for sure 😃
Nice looking dart but the price, and the Swiss points too...yeah, not a fan of those.
Yeah not cheap ☺️
Great darts lousy Swiss points
Nice dart just not my style
Yeah they are a bit of a marmite style 😉
