I woke up in the middle of the night and read the news, I'm so sad to here that he's gone. Rest in peace Justin Townes Earle.
Exact same. I think I woke up around 3 or 4. Fumbled my phone open and saw Steven King's tweet. And thought what kind of sick joke is this... I didn't even know Steven King was a fan. It felt surreal. A quick Google search proved the news to be true.
Song that made me cry:
Yuma.
Rip Justin 😭
I went to San Francisco one night to see him. He was late, I was mad, but I still listen to him and miss this talented young man.
We will miss u and your unique amazing sound n talent- Forever. ❤😊 RIP.
He was talented. Had a great career ahead of him. Will be missed💙
Sad loss. Love the Earle clan
Annandale Hotel,Sydney Australia 2011. I will never forget that night with the other 50 odd people in the audience! RIP !
RIP ❤️
Fascinating.
Thank you for sharing💟
Gracias y saludos cordiales desde Mallorca para vosotros the Rolling Stones
Listen to the Jimmy Gray story 2:36-3:20. The end will break your heart for JTE all over again.💔
I remember crying over “Don’t Think Twice”. It was the moment when Dylan sang, “You just sorta wasted all of my precious time.” I realized time is so precious, that wasting it on something that’s not going to last us frivolous. But sometimes you don’t know that. There’s the Catch22.
3:13 - 3:20 unfortunately most people I look up to or enjoy watching, listening, or being with have died early from one thing or another...... RIP Justin
💟
You were just an Earle. Nuff said. Amen
❤
Descanse en paz
RIP
Heartbreaking. 😞
First EP was not YUMA. First album was Swindlers.
RIP. Probable OD.
Accidental :/ Fucking fentanyl man. Same thing happened to Tyler Skaggs pitcher for my home town angels last year
Rest in peace. That's it. Stfu with the rest
@@tuffentiny I'll let my methadone clinic know how you feel. 8 years there.
@@sinceunatiI'm saying, his cause of death shouldn't be the focus. His recovery should have. Glad you're doing well!
@@tuffentiny I agree. Thank you.
He’s trashed in this fo so
Went to school with him kind of a dork. Guess he got the last laugh
I know he died but did he killed himself?
@@danielcaissie772 No one knows at this point. Hopefully it was not intentional. That would make the news even more devastating.
@@danielcaissie772 No he had a little girl who he adored he didn't kill himself like with most overdose there accidental . If it's intentionally done you make sure like Kurt Cobain when an addict overdoses there doing something they've done thousands of times before and been fine but unfortunately it only takes a stronger than normal batch or the wrong dose to have tragic consequences when class A drugs are involved. RIP JTE.
Justin was a dork?
@@blindboygrunt7711 You can tell he was a total dork. But, like a cool sexy kind of dork with a good sense of humor.
Wonder where he would be if his dad wasn't steve
Exactly the same place he was very talented in his own right and a better musician than his Father and also a pretty good songwriter with a totally different style than his Fathers.
@@mrjasondylan totally agree
What are you even talking about man? You've already called him 'kinda a dork' in a previous comment..a bit drunk, old and bitter are we?
I happened upon him, watched one you tube video of him perform and I was hooked. Such talent doesn't come along every day.
JasonDylan Wallace I don’t think he would have been the same guy, he’s talked a lot about his dad’s influence on his music. He might still be alive though..
