I watched this just after finishing the most recent episode, and I think it really embodies the feeling of some of the more recent episodes. Like...This season, Ash feels like he's moving at a breakneck pace. This feels like a good celebration of what he's done.

And sometimes I wonder, back when he first started out, did Ash ever think he'd get this far?
I know many people don't like ash but this vid goes to show in how far he has come as a character. In the start of the series, he was so immature, bratty, hot-headed, always making fun of misty, he didn't had enough experience in being a trainer and always getting angry whenever gary made fun of him, but now. Holy crap, he really became an amazing trainer, he has more experience, he is still childish but now in a fun loving way, he treats gary as a great friend and he is the champion of Alolah. He is not a perfect trainer but he still amazing the way he has become, a caring strong trainer who understands the true friendship between pokemon and humans 😊
I don’t think I’ve, not only met, but I’ve never heard of someone who didn’t like ash… I’d love to meet them though, people who don’t even watch pokemon obviosuly don’t count

As a pokemon fan who watched 1100 episodes of pokemon I want to say that this is a masterpiece. I started watching pokemon since I was a kid. Pokemon is my childhood and it brings me so much joy, this video almost made me cry. I hope Ash wins the master 8 championship and thank you *Legacy321 Anipoke* for making this video.
I really miss Pikachu having Volt Tackle as an attack. It felt like Pikachu's strongest move back then, while Thunderbolt still being his bread and butter move. Im super proud of Ash and Pikachu on reaching this far. I truly grew up with them:)
This really shows that Satoshi/Ash has come a very long way now. He has grown to be a fine Pokemon Trainer with all the battles, the experience and the memories he has through his journey. I have great faith that Satoshi will become a promising Pokemon Master. If I were his father, I would be very proud and would shed tears of pride.

If there is one thing we should learn from Ash, it’s regardless of how long it takes, how many screw ups and short comings, you should never give up on your goals, because giving up is worse than coming just short. Push yourself harder everytime, never let anything stop you, and learn from everything you ever do, because to quote Ash, “nothing you ever do is useless.” If he can push himself for 25 years, you can do it too. Congrats to the King and World Champion, the man from Pallet Town, Ash Ketchum.

I think ash knows about recoil on volt tackle on Pikachu that's why he never used it again because of its toll on his buddy
