Thanks again to card trader for their continued support; again that's code "symphoneers" at checkout if you're buying some magic cards & want to both get a discount & support the channel at the same time, you multitasker you. Want to support the channel but have no money for magic cards? 1) Mood 2) Hey commenting for the algorithm's neat, you're here anyway.
That would probably yield slightly better results, or at least a better starting point, yup. For this video it is very much a case of - well, card trader sent me 6 packs so let's try an experiment. I was a bit disappointed in general, in that I think in old ~5 set standard this approach probably could have gotten some real wins. But in 12+ set standard, the power gap between sealed and the rest of the format is just an almost insurmountable gulf outside of extremely specific outliers (e.g. toxic could probably do alright). I think other card games probably do a lot better at this type of thing, if only because many have smaller total card pools than standard currently does.

I remember doing something similar with a LotR scry deck. It wasn't very good xD
tbf, if you get 23 playables out of 6 packs for a sealed deck, you should open like 10 (9.39) packs to get 36 playables for a constructed deck, right?

@@SymphoneersGaming yeah, thats true, such a big pool allows crazy optimization for constructed decks. in any case, cool experiment, brave effort ;)
