This deck looks so fun! I love the idea of building decks around the foundations cards because they can become archytypes that stick around for while.

I would recommend going over to Sorceress or Witch if you are planning on using shields and spells especially on the passive skill tree where you can get extra spell damage and mana regen with energy shields. Monk without his quarterstaff is borderline useless later on. For all of his spells, you need a quarterstaff to use. Absolutely love POE 2. Of course, there are problems (body blocking is a big one and potentially getting one shot of damage bugs). Been enjoying it and with only half of the content available right now, the game feels extremely well polished regarding story, gameplay, and graphics, for someone like me who only spent 150 hours into POE 1 because of how complex it could get. POE 2 feels right to me with already 131 hours into it and still going strong. Tried out 4 classes so far and the Merc feels great, but I am an assassin main in all games I can play it and his preview looks so fun! Can't wait till he comes out. I got Monk to level 27 and decided to give him up and wait a bit. His combos can get messy and hard to do at times. I enjoyed you stopping and explaining your thought process in pointers where POE1 and 2 differ and what you like about POE 2. I hope you will get that excitement back you had in 1. I personally appreciate that they changed the gem socket mechanic in the game with gear. For me personally, it was so annoying how you could only put the gem in the same color.

Oof, missing the starter combo of the "combo character" really did you no favours speedwise but still plenty interesting hearing your takes on the INNUMEROUS changes from poe1

That go wide deck later on seems like a pyroclasm or something would have been very helpful.

tbf, if you get 23 playables out of 6 packs for a sealed deck, you should open like 10 (9.39) packs to get 36 playables for a constructed deck, right?

Also let me know if you would like more structured build guide videos or whatever; similarly no plans atm, but there's probably at least one or two I'd be interested in doing (e.g. SSFHC for PoE boomers, once I can do it without dying lol).

Is there any reason to run Shock over Burst Lightning? Both are instant 2 damage spells, but Burst can be kicked for the extra damage if available.

Quick note: I was doing some more testing, and while the foliage is performant with at least a couple hundred copies in a scene (using a more complex collider too), I found I was able to get some performance hitches with only 3-4 in a scene if I passed through them with the player character in a way godot didn't like. The fix I found was just switching the physics engine to Jolt, which you can find in the Asset Library, and I haven't been able to generate a similar performance hit since switching.

Check doubling season for this deck too. It’s legal in standard and would be a house for early ultimates.

Any number of Innkeepers talent would be a sweet synergy for the deck

I've been destroying with golgari superdriends. I run the elf, green overlord, moss wood and 2 copies of doubling season. With nissa, wrenn and aven, both liliana and vraska. Got top 150 mythic today. Nobody has answers for planeswalkers really except duress and sheo edict

Also, you cast Alrund's Epiphany, you had two birds and you cast your commander and you named Wizard drawing one card. If you had named bird you would have drawn two cards. I think you were on auto-pilot.

To get ahead of the comments: Yes I entirely forgot Case of the Uneaten Feast exists, no I don't think the deck needs it (won a bunch before I remembered it lol) but it's a reasonable include. The overseers would be the simplest swap out imo.

i like bulk up addtion didn't even think about it as a finisher I've been using the new kaito unblockable and extra unit pumping kaito . also some times i use water wing in side deck or main deck cause black is annoying . trying to build a simic version too but yeah drake hatcher is my fave card this set
