@@DefGoldbloom In the late 90's is when we start to hear more white rappers than previously.
The fan base they developed for their cosplay form of hip hop was separate from the more
established form and its fan base consisting mostly of black and hispanic new york city inner
      city youth.
In the case of Kool Keith and Ultramagnetic the overall black and hispanic fan base (the
original fan base) rejected them whereas the alternative hip hop white fan base from the
late 90's embraced them. I know that because back in 86 up until the 90's when they would
perform at places I was at that consisted of the original fan base they would get booed out
of the building. I knew Keith and he's a fucking weirdo. One of the last times I saw him was
at Wild Pitch records when they made the four horsemen album.
The four horsemen album saved their careers because before that album those dudes sucked
beyond belief. Before that album their production was sloppy, samples all out of sync, the cuts
and scratches were just terrible and their rhymes sucked ass.
His solo albums are NOT real hip hop records but concepts albums that are comic book based
comedy in the tradition of men like George Clinton, Blow Fly and Dolemite. He just appropriates
hip hop and has been since his first solo album. To conclude Keith's solo works and white rappers
past and present are as hip hop as Brittney Spears. AHahahahahahahahaha

His live shows are as unpredictable as his music, often frustratingly so. Even though I've heard thousands of rap songs from 80s to now, listening to "First Come, First Served" blew my mind, and went even more crazy with "Pimp to Eat", which became my favorite album. Its crazy how a unique artist can change a person's taste and get attracted to their music for long. "Dr. Octagon" and "Black Elvis" were great too, while "Ultra" and "Matthew" were good, but not the best. I haven't heard the albums after these mentioned yet, because I have an online wheel where it decides what album out of hundreds should I listen to. Btw I'm a teenager

The track on '93s Four Horsemen called Checkin My Style was a Cenobites track with Godfather Don's verse cut. The uncut version was released years later under the title Return to Zero.
Clearly KK & GfD were recording Cenobites material from at least '93.

pretty sure Viper has him beat by a lot.. but Viper turned out to be a scumbag, so I guess Keith has a shot now

There is no EMCEE like Kool Keith. The Brotha from another planet sent to rock the mic and be a connoisseur of Bootie.👏🏼
    🔥🔥🎤🔥🔥
I was lucky enough to see him live circa 2005. Wild ass show. He’s a truly unique artist with a mind blowing catalog of bangin projects.
Keith definitely deserves more recognition for his contributions to the culture.🙏🏼
Thanks for bringing some solid HIPHOP content Homie. Keep ‘em comin. Peace.👍🏼

Critical beatdown was one of the 1st cassette tapes I bought in the 80's and the 1st album I knew EVERY line to. Kool Keith forever "in a spaceship"

You can't tell me that Lil B and Nicki Minaj weren't lowkey inspired by Kool Keith in some way. Dude created a whole ass multiverse in his head and inspired many to indulge.
