As someone who uses Dark Prince, he DESTROYS Goblin Drill. I don't really notice that it's actually a nuisance to most players 😅

This new meta truly has something for cards that don’t cross the bridge.
Because the buildings aren't getting nerfed and they counter anything that does cross the bridge pretty much. To break through a 4 elixir bomb tower with egiant/gob giant whatever, one needs to spend 6-7 on the giant and another 6 on a lightning. That's at least 12 elixir for 4 and in double and triple you can still get back to yet another bomb tower within the same defense sequence. Anyone semi decent at the game will just push the opposite lane with their free elixir advantage
@@Swatotastic It’s not the buildings that are too strong, it’s the tactics that are awful.A gob giant alone at the bridge sure won’t do much, that’s why sparky players first cycle one in the back and the place the gob giant at the bridge, and even then you would need to play other spells. A bomb tower alone wouldn’t be enough, and the opponent would need to focus on defending. Even hog rider can easily break through bomb tower if you manage to out cycle the building or you use EQ.
Clash Royale was built on creating effective strategies to break through you opponents defenses, that’s why the bridges are there, to stimulate a more thoughtful approach.
With some of the new meta decks you instead rely on spamming cards directly onto the tower, without worrying about your opponent blocking you at the bridge.
At least log bait requires a good strategy to actually make the barrel connect and take the tower, while miner wall breakers and GY are purely relying on unbalanced evo and cards to cheap you out and stall the game
Better yet, how over the years they've nerfed mortar and xbow because it attacks from your side, meanwhile introducing magic archer, evo firecracker, evo bomber 🙃

@@user-a593frtabro xbow is broken as hell .. Eragon uploaded a video in which hunter and Eragon are top 1 and 2 with xbow so goblin barrel buff is much needed and xbow doesn't need any buff
@@Noman-OGthat’s because they are literally eragon and hunter, basically the only dominant x-bow players in the competitive scene. Looking at the bigger picture there aren’t many x-bow players who get to this level.

Been playing drill for bout 5 months cuz I got bored of miner poison. Unfortunate this thing became busted outta the blue now my fav decks probably gonna get nerfed

I probably opened around 20-25 Tower Chests and only got *one* cannoneer tower out of it. Supercell is a menace. I want to play decks like that wth are they doing

The drill meta is quite annoying for a high elixir deck user like me, it's really hard to defend because of their fast cycle.
Knowing Supercell, they'll just come out with a goblin drill evo or a crazy buff
