    wow, so awesome. I just loved the Kevin Moore style and balance he brought. If only he didn't turn awake into his own opus (to the detriment of everyone else). Kevin had a thematic approach that didn't relate to a specific song, but a whole album.

      "If only he didn't turn awake into his own opus (to the detriment of everyone else)."
      What do you mean by that?

      @@kommisar.
      I think he's referring to the compromises that band made during the recording of Awake. Tbh Im confused about this as well- Kevin made huge contributions to both Awake and IW. Its just that by the time Awake began recording, he was losing interest in the band and was writing songs about it.

    • @kommisar.
      @kommisar. 2 года назад

      @@paulgraves1392 I'm not aware of any compromises the band made on that album, but re-reading the OP now, I think what he was trying to say was it was a shame Kevin decided to write his own music and quit the band.

      @@diegoarana5862 the trick is to maintain the E on the root. The rest is slight tweaks from the Em root chord. Start on Em, then C, then Am and finally Bsus4. This Bsus4 is replaced by the Em during the verses, so you get a repeated chord during the rounds.
