Damn, the richness of those songs. They stick in my head long after I've heard them. Truly incredible songwriting and performing. I've been into them for a while thanks to KEXP... and Tim and company just keep getting better and better.
I wish bands would record music closer to some of their live stuff. I listened to these songs juts now and the studio version. I like these live versions better. They have more feeling and less washed out. I find that true of mot modern rock type bands. Their albums have this commercial polish that I don't necessarily like but their live performance is so much better.
Great Band, i just found you, great stuff from UK fans you look like chumlee"s older and wiser brother and better looking, and not on a string of drug charges Rock on
Because it has a long drawn out sound based off his guitar solos? The chords are similar but it's a simple pattern. The beat may be close, but who hasn't used that type of beat? The words and story are not even close. I'd say the sound is influenced at most.
This is what introduced me to Stand of Oaks. Six years later I still love it.

An M.L. Carr jersey, to boot!

the last one is a plagiat of Neil Young's Cortez ...
