One of the reasons I liked the show Lizzie McGuire was due to the fact that the parents did not act like complete idiots/ stupid/ childish all the time compared to most other Disney shows
I mean she did date a good Charlotte member when she was underage, but other than that she got lucky and had a good support system and she didn’t stay in the limelight like the others
I've been a die hard Hilary Duff fan since childhood in those Lizzie McGuire days and genuinely followed her entire career. Own her albums and can watch all her movies repeatedly without getting bored. Used to have people make fun of me for being a fan, but I've always liked who she is as a person more than anything, and she did not go crazy and expose herself. If you pick anybody as a role model for your kids, choose her! She's down to earth, humble, modest, and pretty genuine. Gotta love her! Now I'm a mother like she is in her 30s and it's pretty cool to have grown up with her!

The reboot shouldn't be on Disney Kids, it is more for adults like shows such as New Girl, Big Bang Theory. It should be a PG family friendly adult show, on TV channels such as NBC or CBS. Not Disney kids. They should've let e.g. NBC purchase the right to Lizzy show first.
The best thing Hilary duff did career wise is Lizzie McGuire best work she’s done. Down to earth and very genuine. Sucks how it didn’t get of the ground hopefully they can make it work.

I haven't seen Disney shows but truly enjoyed Hilary no Younger. Her innate authenticity comes through on the screen. Plus, I was truly wowed by one of those Vogue "watch me put on my skincare and make-up" videos that Hilary did, too.

As great as she is, it’s disappointing she didn’t lobby harder for bigger film roles post-Lizzie. I know she turned down one of the leads in Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and I believe she could’ve had the exact same career as Blake Lively, Jennifer Lawrence, Hailee Steinfeld or even Lindsay Lohan (minus the DUI’s and rehabs)
I wish she never would have gotten all that work done and followed in the steps of her older sister. She always had a beautiful face that she would have grown into.
