Oh my God, even though she speaks with an accent, she gets into the right intonation, and it sounds like a fan-made Russian voiceover with a Japanese accent ahah And the phrases are as lively as in spoken language... (review from a native speaker)
The moment I read the manga of this series before it became animated I called dibs that Sumipe would take Alya's role. She does a good job with Anastasia and Nonna after all, unlike the Russian from Love Live who only knows Khorosho.
I know russian and that accent makes me mad becase she's not spelling the words right. Looks like they learned it once and recorded it straight away without effort. I understand the voice actor is japanese but it isn't that hard to pronouce words after you practice well. Love japan❤❤🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵
my only source for this are other comments but apparently the va can speak russian just fine and the producers wanted it this way, while my russian knowledge is highly limited the fact she can roll her r's and it sounds like she has a much broader vowel space than most japanese people do seems to attest to this
Yeah, the English VAs sounds like Adults. The Japanese VAs (almost) all sound like high schoolers. For shows with adults, I like dubs better. For High School/Younger Protag shows, I like sub.
Я знаю что сейю (это так называется?) которая озвучивала героиню типа нихуево шарит за русский лор, и то что выбрали её пожалуй хорошо, но я буду честен, как человек выросший в рускоговорящей среде на слух русский язык от Японцев звучит так мило потешно, на улыбку пробивает:) я в целом не фанат жанра и смотрел только серию, но думаю ребята там постарались
Even if it is not speaken in actual russian like language manner , it is cute how she says it especially I like the durak part :D :D :D :D :D that is the best one so far.

Актриса озвучки Али, на самом деле, молодец. Не всё у неё получилось, конечно, но всё равно это уровень явно не американского кринжа, типа советского паспорта Джейсона Борна. Мне, правда, кажется, что было бы круче, если бы на роль Али пригласили бы какую нибудь русскоговорящую актрису, что бы у неё был русский акцент именно при разговоре не японском, а не наоборот, это было бы реалистичнее. Но это не суть важно.
