We have done a dozen interviews over the last 3 years, but never in the home of an air gun industry President, discussing where our air gun industry is going next. In today’s discussion, Donny Du, who is the founder, and president of Donny Fl and Saber Tactical, shares where his two firms … as well as the air gun industry is going. Behind the scenes and titles, Donny Du is an inventor and designer, and his mind is constantly designing the next air gun accessory that he believes our industry is going to need. It lets me know, as well as our viewers know, what they can do to keep their air gun passion alive and well. @@russjones6497 I visit once or twice a month and bring a dozen doughnuts and my homemade wild hog and deer jerky and sometimes my fresh ocean caught on my Offshore boat smoked fish .
I also bring in new release rifles for them to look at.
This week I'm getting the brand new Airmaks KRAIT X from Krale in Nederlands due my front door in a day or 2.

I am interested in getting an FX Dreamline compact tac. I also want one of the Donnyfl on the gun. I won’t to know what you think of that gun. I know you said your not a big fan of any rifles with barrels less than 28inch. In the review they say it shoots far and straight just not long range. I respect your thoughts. Thanks
Gino Leone ... it is good to hear from you.... and it is true, I am not generally excited about barrels shorter than 20 inches ... not 28 inches which is the length you used in your comment. My air gun world depends on accuracy ... whether it is the head of a small destructive critter or a small bulls eye.... I typically need a barrel that is a minimum of 20 inches. FX air guns have been winning the majority of the air rifle competition lately, so their polished rifled barrels are exceptionally accurate ... and usually more accurate than other brands. Shorter barrels are often found in pistols and bull pups ... primarily for convenience or conceal ability... and if that feature weights heavier on your list... heavier than being perfectly accurate in a competitive shoot ... then a shorter air or powder gun is for you. Recently, bull pups have reached the 20 + measurement by pushing the breech farther and farther back towards your cheek. That often means bull pups still work for me. Back to my argument of a minimum of 20 inch barrels ... more and more guns are being introduced today with barrels that are 21 (Crosman and Gamo for instance) ... 22 ... and 23 inches (Hatsan for instance) ... and clear out to 24 inches (Air Force for instance) and 27 inches (Huben for instance). I am preparing myself for the day when 20 inches will be considered a somewhat, short, accurate air rifle. Somewhere beyond 34 inch barrels are too long... because the amount of air coming out of the gun barely fills that 34+ inch tube.... with little additional air to push the pellet out... particularly at sweet spot velocities. Consider ordering your FX Dreamline compact from Zach Matthews at Areas ... and then talk to Izzy at Donnyfl for the right suppressor. Keep in mind that suppressors require that you re-sight in your air rifle. Keep in mind that anything that touches that rifle, even a bi-pod, laser, or flashlight will require a new site in. Please keep us in your air gun info loop... and let us know what and how you do. Dr. Russ

Yes... unfortunately due to legal fight with ATF.... however, others continue to offer their brands ... ARES in Georgia has some for some rifles... The Pellet Shop also has some. A number of FX air rifles still include suppressors... and Donnyfl continues to offer them overseas as he provides the good fight. Courts and lawyers don't move very quickly. We can only hope this is over in 2023. Dr. Russ
