"And I Killed Sparky too." I love that they were aware that Agnes being Agatha would be all too obvious, so they simply played it up, and made a catchy song out of it.
Like, I can't wait for the "Agatha All Along" series. Until WandaVision arrived I was obsessed with Deadpool, Iron Man and Wanda, but Kathryn Hahn gave us Agatha Harkness in an extraordinary way (and the character who wasn't very popular in the comics) and thanks to her I've been looking for her merchandising and all comics/books that mention her. Agatha's power is enormous, but Kathryn Hahn's is even greater (she should have won the Emmy she was nominated for).
Agents of SHIELD is incredibly overlooked in the Marvel shows, so I am so glad the Ward reveal still makes this list and on the higher side!! The reveal is SO good and extremely unexpected, but the signs were there all along. And he was very compelling in the second season as a villain, and even in the third season as Hive. Kudos all around to the AOS writers for that one! And to the character development as well.
Number 1 and 2 are ICONIC. "This is the bad place" coupled with Ted Danson's wicked grin and laugh is just so good. And Katherine Hahn ATE and left no crumbs in her run as Agatha. Quirky nosy neighbor to absolutely chewing the scenery and battling it out with Wanda just...yes. I cannot wait for her spin off show.
Honorable mention? Gus from Breaking Bad. When we first saw him in the episode, we just assumed he was the friendly, nice owner of a chicken restaurant. In reality, he was one of the most deadly kingpins in the southwest of the US/Mexican border.
Who's been messing up everything? It's been Agatha all along Who's been pulling every evil string? It's been Agatha all along She's insidious (ha-ha!) So perfidious That you haven't even noticed And the pity is (the pity is) Pity, pity, pity, pity It's too late to fix anything Now that everything has gone wrong Thanks to Agatha (ha!) Naughty Agatha It's been Agatha all along!
The Arrowverse had a few: Jay/Hunter Zolomon in Flash Wells/Thawne in Flash Time Masters in Legends of Tomorrow Milton Fine in Smallville Also, on CW terms: Ruby in Supernatural Also, Grant Ward in Agents of SHIELD - including when he became Hive
You forgot to add the Savitar reveal The best part is when an evil version of the Flash them song plays, he slowly comes out if his suit, and says, "Like I told you from the beginning... I am the Future Flash." He said it so many times throughout the show, and it still caught everyone off-guard.
I would include Jay Garrick in The Flash. Finding out he wasn't who the team thought he was was a massive shocker especially after what happened in the previous season with Wells turning out to be Reverse Flash.
There's plenty of reveals in the Doctor Who universe that should've made the list. Professor Yana/ The Master Clara Oswald/ Bonnie Mr Smith/ The Xylok Lindy Pepper Bean Eckersly
Adrian Chase/Prometheus Arrow (2012-2020) I Can forgive CW for giving Prometheus the wrong secret Identity but making Vigilante a different dude and killing him off was too much James Gunn give us a comics accurate Green Arrow adaptation please for the love of humanity !!!
I nominate Christopher Gorham's character, Henry, from Harper's Island, for this list. The sweet bridegroom whose friends and family are killed one by one at his wedding seemed like someone trapped in a nightmare, until the big revelation.
Greer Revealing Himself About Creating Vigilance, Setting Peter Collier Up, Killing Him, Activating A Second Machine Named Samaritan Was The Biggest Gut-Punch Any Episode Has Ever Done On Person Of Interest. It Should've Been On The List So Why Is This CBS Show Underrated? I Need To Know Something?
What about the shocking villain reveals in "Supernatural"? I mean... there is Castiel during season 6, Metatron at the end of season 8... Or the fact that God himself (Chuck) has been the real villain this entire time. And let's not forget "Once Upon a Time". That one also has some incredible villain reveals. How many times did Rumplestilskin came back as a villain without warning? Or when Hook was revealed as being the Dark One that killed Merlin and enacted the Dark Curse on season 5? Or when Drizella is revealed as a villain in season 7?
Love that you included The Flash! The Arrowverse shows get left out way too often. But how are you going to lead in with Stiles/Derek and the Peter Hale reveal then not include it on the list?!?!
Tie between Grant Ward & Harrison Wells being Eobard Thawne/Reverse Flash, but I'd say Grant surprised me a little bit more. (not really gasping in either case).
For me the most shocking one was halbrand as the human form of Sauron in lord of the rings the rings of power and it was shocking because in his human form he first looked inocent.
The Agnes being Agatha reveal wasn't shocking to me at all. Anyone who had read Marvel Comics and knew who Agatha Harkness could figure that out. I knew as soon as I saw Agnes and she seemed to overly cheerful nosy neighbor.
Honorable Mention for not one but two shocking twist reveals in the series Wednesday. Tyler Galpin’s reveal that HE’S the Hyde! Plus, the reveal that the Hyde’s master and the one who orchestrated everything was Marilyn Thornhill.
I miss that anime... imagine trying so hard getting upgrade to get your power up only to discover that the one who lead you to defeat the big boss was a secret villain all along....
The President (Craig Robinson) turning out to be a bad guy in Michael Scott's "Threat Level Midnight" was jaw-dropping! And here we thought Goldenface was the big bad.
For the inverse of this feeling ...having aria kill the night king when clearly the plot has been pointing to John was a good kick in the groin...but then (not going to rant about it just know there's more)
They already did something like that, like top Disney plot twists. The villain reveal in Zootropolis and the true nature of Te Ka in Moana were at the top.
Recency bias has gotta have something to do with these rankings. Agatha was an awesome twist but number one? Nah. I'd put Harrison Wells/The Flash reveal above that, even. I'm also low-key relieved the Teen Wolf/Peter one wasn't ranked lol. I love that show but it wasn't top 10 worthy.
Il-nam was shocking? Really? The first Time I Saw him being that Much nice without reason, I thought hé would be one of two tropes: either hé would die a dramatic way, or he would be the secret great villain mastermind... I was twice right, it was hilarious 😂😂😂
So true and come on I did like the peter thing in season 1 but my favorite shocking villain is fucking Void Stiles in season 3B how could you turn one of the sweetest characters who is funny and try's too help is now the villain really?
I agree with everything on this list except for Agatha from Wandavision. I wasn't a fan of the show from the storyline and the characters, especially Wanda and Agatha. The entire character of Wanda is complaining from the get-go (when she was introduced in the MCU) and in the show. He hurts/tortures people and she goes "It's my fault it is the world against me". She has been playing that type of character since she was introduced in the MCU and has no character arch. For Agatha, she was just annoying for the entire show and her reveal was predictable.
Of course it would be Amma. She’s Millie Calhoun, then isn’t she, or is she? But the father knows, and walks out the big winner. He gets the house, and he gets rid of the virago to whom he’s married , his dumb daughter , Amma, as well as Camille wh is too damaged to have much credibility.
Oh come on. Agatha wa so obvious from the first scene. Everyone knows she is evil villain. Put her at number one is ridicoulus. The Good place deserve number one, because almost everybody was shock that good place is bad place.

In the short tv show John Doe 2004 in the last episode where John learns his friend was the master mind since the start 😮
@@manueltapia1859 Oh, my God - I thought I was the only one who would've thought of that!
@@karensteimle1977 was a great tv show too bad didn't last longer. That was my introduction with Dominic Purcell who later made Prison Break!!!
Fallout.

Lucy's Dad
Can you do one of these lists for movie villains
"And I Killed Sparky too." I love that they were aware that Agnes being Agatha would be all too obvious, so they simply played it up, and made a catchy song out of it.
You monster, how could you?
Poor sparky 😢
The Good Place reveal was EPIC! I also loved the villian reveal in the first season of 24
Like, I can't wait for the "Agatha All Along" series.
When you think back to "The Good Place" you realize the signs were there all along, and them being in the Bad Place isn't that much of a surprise.
I absolutely loved Ward being Hydra. It made everything turn on its head and made me love the show more
Number 1 and 2 are ICONIC.

Kind of. Espizito being in a small, simple role is rare. If you know him and his and work, it makes sense.
Who's been messing up everything?
It's been Agatha all along
Who's been pulling every evil string?
It's been Agatha all along
She's insidious (ha-ha!)
So perfidious
That you haven't even noticed

Thanks, gonna have to listen to that now, lol.
@@multiverse_media2023Hahahahahahahaha. I love that.
I know it's not live action but the reveal of Selim Bradley in FMA Brotherhood was INCREDIBLE!!

Jay/Hunter Zolomon in Flash

@@varunsrinidhi4747 That's true.
That's a great list. 😊
You could also include finding out Savitar's true identity
Ruby in Supernatural should have been no.1... That scene was AMAZING.
There's plenty of reveals in the Doctor Who universe that should've made the list.
Professor Yana/ The Master
Clara Oswald/ Bonnie
Mr Smith/ The Xylok
Lindy Pepper Bean
Eckersly
Adrian Chase/Prometheus Arrow (2012-2020) I Can forgive CW for giving Prometheus the wrong secret Identity but making Vigilante a different dude and killing him off was too much James Gunn give us a comics accurate Green Arrow adaptation please for the love of humanity !!!
Love Quinn was a heck of a shocker. And as villainous as she was, fixing her was something we still wanted to do.
I nominate Christopher Gorham's character, Henry, from Harper's Island, for this list. The sweet bridegroom whose friends and family are killed one by one at his wedding seemed like someone trapped in a nightmare, until the big revelation.
Exactly. 👍
Some people think discipline holds them back. Successful people know discipline is what sets them free.
I’d have given #1 to the Master from any of these Doctor Who episodes: Utopia, Dark Water, World Enough And Time or Spyfall.
Ward was SO cool
Even moreso when he became Hive in S3
I was so Happy because I hated him from the beginning.
Agatha Harkness and Grant Ward are still my favorite villainous reveals in the MCU.
The grant ward reveal was shocking. I didn’t see it coming.
The thing about Susanna is strange though. In the beginning she was shorter. She became taller after Rose "died".
For me, because I knew almost nothing about The Flash befre I started watching the show, Harrison Wells as Reverse Flash made my jaw hit the floor
Agatha Harkness. Happy tuesday morning, Sophia, take care and God bless you, greetings from Colombia to you as well.
What about the shocking villain reveals in "Supernatural"? I mean... there is Castiel during season 6, Metatron at the end of season 8... But how are you going to lead in with Stiles/Derek and the Peter Hale reveal then not include it on the list?!?!
Laurel gates from Wednesday deserves an honorable mention cause it was quite shocking how original Wednesday Christina Ricci was the mastermind
Tie between Grant Ward & Harrison Wells being Eobard Thawne/Reverse Flash, but I'd say Grant surprised me a little bit more. (not really gasping in either case).
When Jason figured it out😂
Amazing reveals
For me the most shocking one was halbrand as the human form of Sauron in lord of the rings the rings of power and it was shocking because in his human form he first looked inocent.
is that a tv series?
@@nobody34-w4j yes it’s a tv show on Amazon prime.
Oh Il-Nam aka player 001 hurt the most imo cuz we all cried for that guy after the marble game and then he pulls that stunt! 😭😢
Amazing reveals! 👍

Amazing video ms mojo,fantastic job.
Kiss-ass
Honorable Mention for not one but two shocking twist reveals in the series Wednesday. Tyler Galpin’s reveal that HE’S the Hyde! Plus, the reveal that the Hyde’s master and the one who orchestrated everything was Marilyn Thornhill.
I wouldn’t call Harrison Wells and Agatha’s reveal to be big twists as they were actually hinted at throughout the shows.
Zola / Killer Bat 🦇
"Blue Dragon" (2007-2008)
yeah... i remember that...!
I miss that anime... imagine trying so hard getting upgrade to get your power up only to discover that the one who lead you to defeat the big boss was a secret villain all along....
Man that’s a throwback
Agnes/Agatha wasn't really a surprise. They just really leaned into it!
Flash mentioned 🏃🏼♀️ yes
I'm glad they did.
Nina on 24. It should have been in the Top 3.
Also, he wasn't a villain all along, but Zack working for Gormogan on Bones turned into a shocker.
Whenever they introduce the next incarnation of The Master in Doctor Who for the revival, there's always a twist and a reveal.
Only Murders is my favorite show!
And that’s when I got age-quit on Agents of SHIELD.
Michael really got me, but I LOVED Agatha's reveal
In Sleepy Hollow, the Horseman of War was revealed to be the lost, infant son of Ichabod Crane all grown up.
What about that Dante character from the walking dead being a double agent for the whisperers? That is a big villain reveal that i didnt see coming.
I watched the flash when it came out, and I lost my mind when I watched it
The President (Craig Robinson) turning out to be a bad guy in Michael Scott's "Threat Level Midnight" was jaw-dropping! And here we thought Goldenface was the big bad.
There was nothing surprising about The Ben Linus reveal. Dude was shady as hell. 😂😂
i think... Sara Fisher(from "Captain Laserhawk") is the TRUE villain of the 1st-season...! now that's a twist!
Another would be Honorable Mention : Mona revealed as A in Pretty Little Liars
How is Nina Myers from 24 not on this list!!!! Most shocking one of all!!
They did Love dirty. I loved Love so much. So crazy and great
For the inverse of this feeling ...having aria kill the night king when clearly the plot has been pointing to John was a good kick in the groin...but then (not going to rant about it just know there's more)
Jan shocked me the most
Anyone who read comic books knew that Agnes was short for Agatha Harkness ❤
Castiel in S6 and later when he becomes Lucifer

I love Wandavision but Agatha over Michael feels so wrong. That S1 twist defined the Good Place
Jullian Hilliard and Jett Kline were funny as Billy and Tommy
Left out the greatest villain in TV history: Nellie Olsen.
Wait No Nina Myers?
The Hydra reveal is better than Harrison, Jan & Agatha.

Agents of Shield ♥♥♥♥
Lucas Scott should be on this list
I liked _WandaVision,_ just not Episode 5 or Agatha’s revelatory song. Call me wacky, but that song is too corny for me.
I hate Agatha!
What, no Stranger Things honourable mention?
No Nina or President Logan from 24?
Finish this for me guys!
WHO'S BEEN MESSING UP EVERYTHING!!????
I agree with everything on this list except for Agatha from Wandavision. I wasn't a fan of the show from the storyline and the characters, especially Wanda and Agatha. She has been playing that type of character since she was introduced in the MCU and has no character arch. For Agatha, she was just annoying for the entire show and her reveal was predictable.
Not gonna lie. Agatha being the bad guy wasn't as big of a shock as you think. We were all thinking that she was Agatha for most of the show. lol
Buffy the vampire season 6,the villain turns out to be willow
Except she wasn't the villain the whole time and we got to see the process of her turning.

This narrator voice is so sleepy...

Oh come on. Agatha wa so obvious from the first scene. Everyone knows she is evil villain. Put her at number one is ridicoulus. The Good place deserve number one, because almost everybody was shock that good place is bad place.
Whoever is doing the voice over in this video is just terrible, sounds so lifeless and comatose.
