A Game said some.. things about the hoverbike here. Specifically that you don’t get to have fun and bumble around with it. But you do- when you try to dropfly and it fails, sending you to whatever ground lies below. Yes, you can glide, but where’s the fun in that? Plus it might not be possible if you fell directly above a mountain peak or slope. Besides it’s also just more battery efficient and zonaite efficient. It doesn’t use up any parts other than zonai devices, and since there’s only two fans it consumes energy less frequently. Edit: Also it’s been recognised by Nintendo themselves so that’s something Not just that it also has enough weight to kill an enemy beneath it if you time the drop right, I managed to kill a Yiga in the Depths (who was driving a boat around their base) with just the hoverbike and it was fun.
