I saw those strawberries as _"largely a grey but with a tiny extra red colouration"_ (as though somebody added black to pink), and so, as with other optical "illusions" I've doubted before when in video, I checked it out. And they are not grey but instead they are exactly what I said they are. Et la, I took a screen-shot and put it in an art package software and used the colour picker. In more than one area _(such as the strawberry cleft in twain laid apon its back)_ there is slightly more red than other colours in the "grey". Video compression (such as 480p vs 1080p) will not sacrifice the same amount of black as other compressions. It's too "expensive" in the compression, such that the encoder discards it. You can essentially end up with a gaussian kernel density 'estimation' for a hot pixel, a bit like the visual effect of antialiasing at neighbour pixels. A bar in a histogram bin is essentially swapped for a hyperplane, and compressing down so you get some different magnitude or frequency. Before verifying as described, I was prepared to doubt my vison because it mostly looks grey as if they are not strawberries but face-hugger-xenomorph eggs or dea-sea mud. However, turns out, nope, it definitely has more red in some pixels in the spots I saw it before checking. Computer video compression messes with the optical illusions. I saw this with another video on the topic of the black and white squares. Same happened but instead of reds it was two different greys. Those types of photos are often jpeg known-quantity files witha give hash and the DCT (discrete cosine transform) has already been through it, but then by plonking it into a video the author is demanding of that image to go, yet again, through the DCT (sometimes more than once). And so something changes, be it YUV or luminosity or whatever the software has optimised for in whatever pass the encoding had in for it. Your patter was cool. The image simply is not what it claims though. This information is to help you.
My comment has no hate in it and I do no harm. I am not appalled or afraid, boasting or envying or complaining... Just saying. Psalms23: Giving thanks and praise to the Lord and peace and love. Also, I'd say Matthew6.

I'M FREAKING OUT! I've never seen it as white and gold before! I've *ALWAYS* seen it as blue and black! I've checked many videos and images claiming to show the original dress, and I can't force myself to see blue and black! I'm really hoping that this is just because I've gone over 24 hours without sleep and not that my brain or eyes have changed or something.
    Also, first comment.

Now that I'm looking at it again, it is clearly blue and black. I don't know if it's because it's on a different monitor or if my brain has adjusted to a different kind of lighting now that it's daytime, or if becoming more or less tired has changed it, but I clearly see blue and black now.
