the ATA Turqua,
At this point in Tim its on the top of my list for BEST budget hunting rifles.
this is going to be one of the most affordable rifles with all the features out there, from a 60 degree bolt throw, Smooth action, accuracy that compares well above its price point, and backup iron sight on top of it all.

info from ATA's website:
FIRST BOLT ACTION RIFLE OF TURKEY
After the first Side by Side, Over and Under and Semi-automatic Shotgun of Turkey, ATA Arms now proudly presents the First Bolt Action Rifle of Turkey: TURQUA 100% Turkish-made TURQUA is another engineering innovation from Turkey’s leading firearms manufacturer. Turqua is distinguished from the other bolt action rifles with its 3-stage safety and 2-stage adjustable trigger. Turqua’s 60-degree bolt lift is shorter (compared to typical 90-degree bolt throw) that allows faster loading on follow-up shots. The free-floating feature maintains barrel to stock spacing for consistent accuracy. SUB-MOA at 3 shots is guaranteed with this button-rifled barrel. The ergonomic stock made of selected Turkish Walnut is designed for accurate and comfortable shooting. All these features make TURQUA one of the best value on the global market.

we have optics/ carbon fiber Tripods/ and Merch!
I have two of them. 243 and 6.5 Creed. Fabulous rifles with 3lb triggers. Just make sure you tighten everything which you should do with any new rifle.
That trigger is fully adjustable. You need to remove two screwdriver bolts using locksmith vise, than replace it with hex bolts and tune it. Also you can polish rubbing surfaces. I made a one stage trigger after that with a little trigger movement
I think they're being marketed in Canada as a Savage-Stevens 334 as well, offered in 243, 6.5CM, and 308. So far they seem to have decent reviews and are often described as 'tanks'. Might be a very good budget option! Thanks for a great review!
no prob! yeah I actually found a Savage Stevens 338 and Ordered it, seems like they dont have as many options for stocks ECT
Just received my stevens334, while the bolt fit into one another the finish on the Stephen's is a bit rough. The bolt didn't smooth whatsoever. Have yet to see about accuracy and reliability
i have the savage/stevens 334, shoots great and works great. no iron sights just picatanny rail 429.00
I love my stevens 334 , the stock on mine is so beautiful, its like one youd find on custom rifle.
Picked up mine a month ago , couldn't be happier for price ( $1150AUD), was going to get Ruger American but rolled the dice and went with the ATA.
Synthetic stock
.308
Vortex Viper 6.5-20x50 mildot
Shoots sub moa with most amo at 100m .
Mate, you got yourself a great rifle for that price. I love my ATA very happy with it.
I've seen these sold as the Savage-Stevens 334.
I've been very pleased with Turkish O/U shotguns and handguns I own. I am pleased to see some rifles coming out.
Picked up one last summer in 6.5 (would have rather had a 308 but they sold out to quick) tried 4 different loads and it really liked the hornady superpreformance 129 sst and the sako blade 120 gr. great rifle for the price. just waiting for mu soley canadian adjustable cheek piece. see one canadian dealer with stock but the price has gone way up.
I’m glad you got to review one , you might have the first review video in English
Nice rifle for the money…just trying to figure out where I’d be able to shoot it outside the gta…ranges are getting expensive and multiple memberships is really expensive.
Great video 👍🏻
thanks Mikey!
Just bought a Stevens 334 at cabalas which I'm pretty sure is the same gun. I'm trying to figure out how to adjust the trigger was hopping your video might have some insight. I would like to see this gun in 30-06 and with a sorter couture barrel if they could shave a pound off it would be fantastic
Great job as always. I find your videos fair and not over the top. Would love to see you review a Howa Superlite.
Thanks Kenny! Yeah im looking for one!
Thanks again for the info 👍👍 and great show 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
would you re shoot some groups with the action re torqued please?
Hello every one . I 'm buying my first carbine . I need help in choosing professionals . I choose among the following : 1) tikka T3 light 2) browning X bolt 3) benelli lupo 4) beretta brx1. 5 ) mannlicher pro hunter. The target is shooting up to 500 meters , occasionally hunting
Caliber 308 win
i only have experience with Tikka and Browning, and in my case both were quite good
Nice video. I don't share your view on creep in Savage Axis Rifles though. I certainly don't have a lot of creep in any of mine. Hardly any creep in even the plain Axis, the Axis II is a bit better yet. Most likely that rifle would be better if purchased through Savage as the Stevens 334 because then you would have service on it if necessary. The barrel profile on the rifle you interviewed is a heavier than standard barrel that I like better myself. Not sure if you mentioned it. A bit heavy for a stalking hunting rifle. Good for blind hunting or the bench.
I want one of those with iron sights! Haven't been able to find one.
I’m having the same issue with the action not seating properly and having some side to side movement. Could you elaborate on how you fixed the issue on your rifle?
I recapped the threats as some were cross threaded and didn't allow the rifle to properly seat
Love this
where can you get the larger capacity magazine? Thank you
It came with the Turqua
The gun is beutfull looking but the stock is not right look at the caek pad 😮😮😕😕😬
Can you review the ATA ALR?
What rifle chassis will this Turqua ATA fit it. Or come close to fit it?
i dont think it will fit in any chassis at the moment its the same rifle as the Stevens 334 so when Stevens gets a chassi so will the ATA
No, Savage Axis 2 is the best budget rifle around. Bergara makes some good ones too in the low price range.
I just got the stevens 334 in 243 synthetic stock and the axis doesn't come close in quality.
@@jasonrobelia8829 the key is accuracy. And Savage is more consistent than the other cheap rifles, although Bergara comes very close.
@@PassivePortfolios my 334 shoots .5 moa at 100 yards and for mor then 3 shots.
@@jasonrobelia8829 did you buy the rifle from a dealer or was it sent to you by Savage for testing?
Wish Savage made iron/open sights standard on the Axis rifles..
Is that photo of the receiver threads before or after you chased it?
I beleive that was before I chased it
1:12 ,,, how do you like the iron sights,,,,, accurate enough??? Is the front post kinda too big??
yep, front sights too chunky/blocky in my opinion
@@EpikArms ya thats what i think too for my Henry 3030 steel ,,, i changed the front and back sights too HiViz (front too big) thinking of putting original front post with the rear HiViz,,, the buckhorns were no good for my eyes,,,
I don't see these in the states
Yep, on gunbroker, just not with the same stock
Needs a chambering I don’t have and maybe.
Efectife range ?
That's cartridge based and debatable, but not by me!
Do a review for Sig cross man. ❤
Working on it at the moment!
Can you please make a video about another Turkish rifle İstanbul Silah Monza. It is almost same price as ata turqua.
hey there, I dont see any in Canada at the moment, Ill get one if they come back in stock
@@EpikArms thank you
How do you get the 5 round clip.
They come with it
The 334 at Cabela's doesn't have sights. The ones I have seen, the walnut doesn't look great. I dont like the cocking indicator, or the picatinny rail. Looks weird.
Ill pass. Which sucks cause im all about these cheaper bolt guns.
If i had a nickel for everytime some fool sez BEST of anything
Come on man it iz ze best! You buy now!
ATATÜRK 🐺
Epic Arms listening to you make excuses and spin was extremely funny. You lost credibility but your a great Comedian ! Very funny.
lol glad you found it entertaining! excuses on what? the wobbly stock?
He had good accuracy even before he found the problem. It's a budget gun, you want it shooting down fighter jets?
@@EpikArms Is the bedding similar or the same as the Ruger American center fire? The bolt and receiver appear to be a rip-off of that!
Is there a chance you can review the Browning X Bolt Target Heavy? That one's got my interest.
Yep I actually have a review on that one, it's their previous model though before they upgraded the stock
@@EpikArms What would be your pick between Aero Precision Solus Bravo 308 or the Browning X Bolt Target 308? Both are somewhat similar in price. The Aero is smaller with a 20" barrel that's a match grade clone of what the US Army uses. Guaranteed sub moa out of the box. Decent adjustable KRG chassis.Triggertech single stage. Supposedly has a very smooth action. 20" seems short to me for a 308 but I won't be going past 500 meters so I don't know if that really matters. Lastly, I love the overall look. Looks like a dedicated sniper rifle.
X bolt has an awesome precision Japanese heavy barrel with a muzzle brake. But it's 26", making it more unwieldy. The DLX trigger is supposed to be excellent. Has higher mag capacity and compatible with other aftermarket mags. Adjustable stock (wish I could afford the McMillan stock lol). Beefed up receiver. Beefed up bedding. Action is also supposed to be very good. Dedicated long range target rifle, but again I won't be going past 500M. Supposed to be a real tack driver. I like this look too, just not as much but that's not a dealbreaker. I see pros and cons to both. What's your opinion?
Good question I have no experience with the solus, but its specs seem very desirable.
@@EpikArms Cool, thanks. And I picked up the Arken sh-4j largely based on your recommendation. You were right on in your reviews. It's an awesome scope for the money! Good fit/finish, good turrets, Japanese glass and illumination for 399 USD. It's a great value.
