Sometimes it just doesn't go as planned. The good thing is you have an unbelievable garage/workshop to calmly work through the difficult projects. Be Safe.

Doc what you did is what almost every Talon owners does and I fully get that...especially after fussy around with this expensive storage box. Good for you...maybe I should've lag bolt a tractor storage box on it would have been less frustrating lol. Thank. you always. BTW I loved that trail video get LM to finish his machine.

That’s a nice box. Looks like my Jemco box I put in my pro xp. Super useful having just one large enclosed cargo area.

Been looking at this box and I'm really confused by Honda's website. The PN for the brackets is 0SL41-HL6-A01, but the current bracket on the powersports store looks nothing like the ones you used. The new one doesn't look like it will fit the "claws"

Ugh I get it. Call an experienced dealer you may be looking at a bracket for another box. Who would of thought I need 2 brackets...I didn't or my salesman. An experience parts person should guide you. I do like the box it's very big

Off subject, but I could some advice.
Have you owned any 2 up ATVs?
The 3 I know of are Can Am, Polaris, and CF Moto.
After watching what you went thru on your Outlander 1000 oil change video 🤦‍♂️
All I can say is, "Why Can Am? Why make the routine maintainence so difficult?" 🤷‍♂️
Which brings me to Polaris and CFMoto. Both have dealers an hour away from me.
CFMoto is more equipped at a better price point. So I'm leaning toward them.
Sidenote: I suggested we buy our first SXS, but she believes the 2 up experience will be more fun for her. We shall see!
So, any insight you can offer before I pull the trigger would be greatly appreciated!
PS Long live the HONDA CHANNEL!! 😆

FC I will give you my opinion but you need to research on your own. Although I've owned a 2 up ATV...I would never recommend riding 2 up off road especially aggressive off road trails. My Can Am 2 up Outlander was awesome for one rider...better than a single seat machine but I would never consider riding 2 people on the trails we ride, the machine would be maxed out. My research and experience lead me to believe that Can Am made the best 2 person ATV...I believe that and Polaris is probably a very close second...maybe tied. My exposure via media and riding an 2 up CF moto atv on a cruise excursion is I would never consider anything machines from this brand. After going over the bars twice and rolling and atv once, not to mention watching my wife go over the bars....I'm a very careful rider...I decided to strictly ride SXS and be protect by a roll bar and seat belts. The number one safety option is a smart driver, then comes a roll bar and seat belts. ATV's are fun...believe me I do miss them as I've had many big bore and single piston machines but I thought it was time to increase my odds. I hope I didn't put a damper on your decision...but this is how I feel. Be safe.

I love the engine and transmission gears on the Talon...I don't think I can ever go back to a CVT SXS. But that's me I'm not a full throttle driver.

Tusk makes a nice Stage 3 kit for the Talon. (Front & rear widows and lower doors.) The front window flips down. ruclips.net/video/SLDcKUxkm0I/видео.html
    Take care!
