it would be even better if you had stuffed the silencer with a dry towel to prevent water going inside while washing and instead using leaf blower you could have used something with small nossel

I have 3 questions
1. Shouldn't we leave the vehicle after compound and polishing for 8-12hrs before ceramic?
2. Before ceramic, do we apply Ipa?
3. Is infrared curing necessary? And for how long?
Point wise reply is given below:-
1. There is no requirement of waiting for 8 to 12 hrs. Serves no purpose
2. It is essential to use IPA or panel wipe to clean the surface of contaminants and polishing oils before application of ceramic
3. Infra red curing can be done and duration is as specified by the manufacturer. We give 24 hrs of curing before delivering the vehicle. IR just reduces the curing time. But I prefer normal curing to IR curing.
