I love how you put the whole musical up bit by bit, interpreted by different talented people. I am totally in love with it, but don’t have the privilege to watch it again and again, this is a way for me to relive the wonderful memories grinning man has given me, thank you all.
Absolutely lovely cover! No-one has mastered this song like Louis, but David has such a haunting, touching tone. (Bit of a weird mix to me... Very orchestra-heavy, especially at the climax, but I do enjoy being able to hear that gorgeous underscoring)
It's a coincidence that the song is called Labyrinth when I think David bedella could play a great replacement for Jareth! He has the singing voice for it, he can play a villain character, and can pull off the look.🤔
I've pestered them on Twitter and by popping into the theatre on occasion. The latest I've heard is they're 'working on it'. And when I asked if that meant it was in production or being recorded they said it isn't yet. So hopefully it will be coming, but looks like we have to keep waiting for an official update!
Am hoping for a cast album too. Why go to all the trouble of recording these celebrity versions when they could have just spent the money on recording the actual cast? Seems a bit pointless. Saw the show yesterday and no-one l asked knew if a cast cd would ever be done.
