Hi, I'm probably getting a shiba soon, can I ask how much they shed? I've heard that they shed a lot, and it's not a problem for me, I'm just curious. Btw Aoki is sooo cute.

Those first kisses melted my heart... can't wait until I get my first kiss this fall. ❤❤❤ i just noticed you have a cat! Please tell me how they get along and did it take a while for pup to "leave it". My Shiba was 3 when I got a kitten but now my Shiba passed and it'll be a 9 yr old cat with the puppy. I love your puppy! So cute. I'll probably get a male this time around. I've had 2 females.
Hey Sandy! oh amazing, two shibes already! I always wondered what it's like to have a female :) Yes, I had Aoki at 8 weeks old and he loved Suke! Now my cat went to his dad's when we seperated so they are not in the same house anymore. That said, cohabitation when they were, was quite tough tbh. that's because Suke did not like the puppy energy....he was too intense haha!
My shiba is almost 3 months old and shes been with me for 2 weeks now, but she is still scared to walk through the house, to leave her room.. do u have any tips so I can try to make her feel more safe or courageous? Thanks!
Hey João! Usually when they are scared - they are mostly unsure of things. Did you check if there is something in particular that’s scaring her from her room to the rest of the house? Try encouraging her and take it slowly - one room at a time. Give her treats along the wash and use a soft voice. Go at her pace - one step at a time. Try everyday at least once or twice!
@@aokiandanais Hey! I believe she is scared of me and the house, because she plays and get along with my cat. She is making small progress, but its still a progress. Im trying slowly to let she knows theres nothing to worry about, taking her to whatever room im at, either if im at the office on my computer, cooking, watching a series... She still doesnt play with me, but she took some treats and food from my hand, so I guess its a progress, Ill keep trying to interact and hopefully ill be able to play with her sometime. Her name is Konan btw :) thanks for the advice!
@@joaopaulobg oh beautiful name! She might have not be socialized with men before. Is her breeder a woman? Try only using a puppy voice - high pitched and soft. If you have a beard, that might not help 😅 I would also recommend getting a dog behavioural trainer - ideally someone who knows Shibas and has great reviews :)

Hey, I'm about to collect my Shiba. How old was Aoki when you collected him?
8 weeks - although, the breeder had to let me know even past 8 weeks as she needed to make sure that puppy and mother were both ready. :)

I have been extremely lucky. Aoki is not interested with furniture… yet. It might change. I don’t know yet! But so far, all good!
