Panama like any other mayor country has a diversity of places, however you chose to showcase only the streets where people are selling items for tourist in a very rundown area. It would had been great if you showed the splendors of the restored historical buildings, the parks, the churches, and the beaches and so much more.

I see beauty in this street. I see people of every race and ethnicity mix walk together instead of separately like in the U.S. This is a welcome testimony to coexistence. That one guy was rude, well, he was. And I'm glad marwa said it like it is. the first vendor could have repaired his glasses but instead he wanted to sell him another pair. I'm glad he found another vendor (a watch repairman) to fix his glasses. lol And notice that Marwa did not say the watch repairman was rude. I appreciate the reality of this video. No frills. No embelishments. Just how it is in a regular old street. Not a fancy or tourist trappy street, but an everyday people street.

The goods & merchandise in the streets look very interesting to me...have not been central or south america before, but have done a few of the asian countries though.
The city REALLY doesn't need many touchups to look ultra pristine, just a few cleanups and polishing. But the people really need to clean up and dress up, i think it's sad that they look even more precarious than my country (Argentina) which isn't even half as rich as Panama.

You said the guy was rude because he don't want to fix your glasses, he wants you to buy a new one from him., I dont see rudness there I see business (juega vivo). You have to understand Panama locals are not asking you for favors, they dont need them, did you see anyone skinny person or begging for food or pan handling?, they all looks well feed, and not in need of your sympathy. This is Panama not Colombia or other latin american country. They dont need you and they are not afraid to show it. And that is what is considered poor neighborhood in that country. One of the best country to visit anytime. I travel to Panama twice a year being in all the cities and I tell you they are all great people, happiest people in the world, look it up. Foreigners dont impress panamanians. It is a country that was build with foreigners from all over the world many many many years ago Bro. It is not a poor country, people there that are poor are poor by choice because they choose to be lazy but not because of opportunity
