All in all this is a very good drill. I have mine since at least 15 years and it helps me to build my house. SInce 5 years the direction switch doesnt work, last month the electric connection of one carbon brush was broken. So I bought a new switch and carbon brushes. i only came along here to see, how the cables are connected to the switch, because when I opened the upper part of the switch with the 4 cabels for the dirction switch all fell apart because they are not secured by srews.

For diamond drilling you need to use high speed drills

Wow, a KOPP 2.5mm2 plug for that little drill

Yes! Maybe the customer wanted a good quality, durable plug, thats why he/she put this KOPP one on this drill. We use these KOPP plugs on heavy duty extension cords.

Great video. Just had a trigger fail on mine. It looks like they are never really worth fixing. Makita wants over half the price of a brand new drill for just the trigger.
"651986-7 SWITCH, TRIGGER $50.82"- Makita part list.
