    Miku sensei! Thanks for the video! 1 question: at 11:37, why is the conjugated form "wasureta" not "wasuretta"?

    • @aarondarby163
      @aarondarby163 4 года назад

      Clara C wasueru is an iru/eru or “ru” verb (depending on how you learnt verbs!) meaning the ta form ending is removing the last ru and adding ta! So わすれる>わすれた! If the verb a “u” verb that happened to end in ru (うつる group) the ending would be tta (った) for example のる isn’t a “ru” verb so the conjugation would be のった because of the る. On the other hand 食べる (to eat) is a “ru” so the ending isn’t った it’s just た. Hope this makes sense! 頑張って👍

    Thank you for the video.. superb!
    Bismillaah.. If you said "Ta form" is a form for expressing something in the past, why you say
    "Kyou taisetsuna koto (o) mananda" for "I learn something important today"
    Kyou = today.. I'm not English man so I don't understand the Kyou/Today here expressed the past..
    I can't sense it. "Kyou" with "mananda" (learn with today).. not Kinou (learned) or something???
    Hope my bad english not made you even more confusing.. arigato!

    • @indigosachi1784
      @indigosachi1784 3 года назад

      I’m not completely sure but I think the reason she used today for past tense is because she is saying something happened earlier today. So, I learned something today is past tense because it still happened in the past even if it was the same day. Hope that helped and didn’t make it more confusing ;)
