You never re engaged or told us when to re engauge the levers that you pulled @ 1:50... do I start mower and push levers forward and backward with wheels engaged or disengaged?
Great video! I have a JD Z930R zero turn mower and in addition to these transmission filters, it also has a black filter mounted sideways near the mower deck. It appears to be some other kind of hydraulic fluid filter. Do you know what this is and should I also change it when I am changing the fluid and filters for the transmission?
Looking at a JD Zero turn and was wondering what series model you can change the fluid on? Ex. does the 5 series have serviceable transaxles? This would be part of my decision of which model to purchase. Thanks!
Hey my friend any advice on my Z910A my left wheel sometimes do not move, after I play with it little bit is ok for the rest of the day, just starting to do it
Oof, this is a tough one and unfortunately, I do not have any solid advice on the best way to go at it. I would call your local dealership and see what their advice would be. Maybe one day I will get the opportunity to do one and video it.
I would not advise using Low Viscosity Hy-Gard. You will want to use regular Hy-Gard to ake sure you have protection in the summer temperatures. Low Visc is only shown to be good for air temperature up to 85 degrees Fahrenheit.
Hands down, the best most simplified video for the transaxle maintenance.
Awesome video, thank you.

Yes, re-engage the wheels and then move the levers. My apologies.
WITH WHEELS SLIGHTLY OFF GROUND...

Are there other drain bolts/plugs that need to be loosened and drain additional fluid or just drain from the filter opening? Thanks

Any advise on changing a drive motor out? Best way to attack it.

is it acceptable to change hydrostat fluid and filters on the 900 series early?
Yes, you can change it early. Can I ask why you feel you need to do so? Or is it just for peace of mind?
The pull release lever doesn’t want to go back in and my wheels aren’t able to be spun.
Do the 740r change please
I will see what I can do.
