I have watched hundreds of videos on photography and a significant portion on composition. And while I've heard most of the rules explained before, I have never found so much common sense illustration and explanation as in this video. I will watch this one many times and make notes for adding them to my own images. Thanks for such a well-done bit of education.

Oh yes, those illustrations on the issues mentioned are damn spot on. And that shot of the see and the sky with beautiful blues to the left and purples to the right made me rethink what beauty is. I’m wiping the saliva out from my floor but it’s still dripping.

Great vid. Just the right length and informative., and inspiring. You could teach people how to make RUclips vids, let alone about photography. I already learnt from another photographer about shooting vertically. Every shot I take, I take horizontally and vertically. It’s like muscle memory now. In fact I’d forget to tell anyone else to do this, as I do it automatically and hardly realise I’m doing it. I’m glad you mentioned this great tip. When it comes to post processing, I’ve used tons of vertical shots. And to think I would never have gotten those shots had I just shot horizontally. Going to check out your other vids. Thanks.
