Beethoven, Fidelio in Concert, Finale of Act 2 - London 1999 - Subtitles in German and English

Beethoven's "Fidelio" is standing for liberation and freedom in the opera world and is therefore often used for grand openings and other important events. Here we see the finale (second part of act 2) performed at the re-opening of London's Covent Garden opera house in 1999 after its renovation.
