Nice video👍. I have a 2000 BMW 318Ci (auto) that vibrates quite a bit when i put it into drive (foot on brake) . When its in Neutral, its super smooth, no vibration whatsoever, only when i shift into gear. When I drive away its also super smooth. Does this sound like the transmission mounts?
Based off of the description, I would assume that both the engine and transmission mounts are worn out. When the transmission is put in gear, it will torque load the engine and transmission and this will cause a noticeable vibration if the mounts are worn out.
Exactly, this is by far the easiest explanation I have seen, had one video tell me to drop the subframe, crazy, thanks 👍👍
Definitely not needed! Glad this helped!
I have other video said to take the mofler off so also thake the braket that’s old the motor mounts !!!
Perfect video. Clear, concise information. I appreciate it.
