Wow malcolm X taught this over 50 years ago and we still begging the white man to do for us. What we should be doing for ourself.
Economics ⚒
SO TRUE MY BROTHER
I ponder this everyday
There is a reason why the textbook in American schools don't extol Malcolm X , they knew his influence will revolutionize and motivate the black youth that are looking for black role models. MLK's main focus was the right to vote and integration. Obviously integration has not worked for us nor will it work. Once people see that you are not similar to them they treat you different. Racism will always exist. It is time we find ways to fend for ourselves. Appreciate and miss you Malcolm . May your soul rest in peace and your words forever resonate through the minds of any soul that need encouragement
Excellent assessment
Yeah but I don't blame them. I blame black people. Malcolm X isn't new, Marcus garvey came first then booker t washington and many more. Yet the vast majority of idiots look to the W E Dubois and MLK's who promised integration without equality. Racism still exists because no one respects black people. You get respect when you can prevent someone from buying the necessities that they nee to survive. Black people don't have that power
xavier carty Facts!
xavier carty wrong.....
racism is a class reflection. if...... the economic power centers could be divided similar to congress u would see swift changes in black communities tht are 99.99999999% excluded in the world bank, fed reserve, local and state banks, then it would change
+xacier carty I absolutely agree.
Most people will always seek to preserve that which is similar or familiar to them, us included, hence why economic self-sufficiency is imperative. I speak extensively about economic matters pertain to our diaspora on my site, you should take a look and subscribe whenever you have time: thearadproject.wordpress.com/ .I write for thoughtfull brothers and sisters such as yourself.
nicki minaj anacanda video has 500 million views,,this video has 52,000 views..then we wonder why we are not succeeding in this country...
david Foster Preach!
david Foster things will change...we need a leader like malcolm with deep pockets....he will be here within the next 6 years....he will have his educational system put in place. No more george washington bullshit but king ramses II knowledge from the pyramids. Blacks will flock to his schools
+jason lowery how about Dr Ben Carson?
Barry Guyer ben carson is a genius who showed the world of medicine how to split the brain...but he is not the right person for black people because he would be like the rest catering to everyone else except blackfolk. ...i.e obama
jason lowery ya because he is a republican
We need this message now just as much as as we needed it back then.I Love You Malcolm
Thanks family. This is very encouraging that you are using my video. Yes, Brother Malcolm's voice is used all the way thru the presentation. I gathered 3 different speeches to make this particular video. Let me know how it goes family. I love the feed back! Peace and One Luv.
Great video - would you have links to the individual speeches by chance?
True we need to create our own opportunities.

And learn how to circulate the dollar in the community. Web based businesses is the way!
One of the first to lead the way and develop the conscious community. Let's show some respect to the legendary Malcolm x. A master teacher.
Genesis Mcgee
Our Min. MX had great a great teacher,
Started with his Father,Hon. Marcus Mosiah Garvey U.N.I.A.,His Master Teacher the Honorable ELIJAH MUHAMMUND and African Leaders,Prophet Idn Abdullah Muhammad the best historical mentors, models. Fire spark to READ,Learn☺
Genesis Mcgee Ge make me want to be black. Since I was a teenager he'd been a role model on how to act and grow your community. I miss him even though I never met him in person.
this lecture is back in the 60's but it's still relevant today. we gotta try some of this stuff instead talking about how great of a speaker he was
marcus mcgary Totally Agree family!
we as a people only want to be entertained by great speeches and lectures. WE need to get about some action stop being afraid and move towards liberation
we need this played everyday
in schools
Everyday bro
Every single day !!!
I could listen to this man speak for an eternity!
Malcolm was a very deep and knowledgeable man. He would had really changed the world, and he is gone because of that.
Brother X I cannot argue with that powerful statement brother.
This is why they eliminated him, otherwise the dynamics would be different today.
Thank Elijah Muhammad for making him...
The great brother is Truly worthy of more salutes than the American flag
Dr. Boyce Watkins sent me here.
I'm ashamed to say I never really listened to Malcolm's Speechs. He really doesn't talk about Race how I once believed, but Business fundamentals and the power that lies within the economic liberty of a people.
That's More Powerful than any Speech on Race or Racial tension.
Shawn Presley I'm ashamed as well to have not made efforts to listen to this brother. He outsmarted even Louis Farrhakan another genius I adore. There was a grave mistake to assassinate this man. Although the cartels of the US government were behind that black man who pulled the trigger. Sad indeed.
By any means necessary please let's unite.
I am a white boy but he speaks pure logic the african american community does not need white america to be successful. for me I want us to be equal in all things unfortunatly economics is the first thing to push those boundaries.
Thank you Steve Jones. I am not looking for validation. I am about empowerment.
Phillip Deuser money is a problem in almost any situation big or small
Phillip Deuser true, I can't front.
Phillip Deuser Islam Removes racism from a person, Islam brings all races to become on one community for love each other.
Malcolm was enlightened
He was a prophet
This is a very empowering message for the black community.
LOVE this video with the smooth jazz in the background! Malcolm's words are so powerful, intelligent, and powerful!!! I swear I've been listening to your video for years! Try to play it a few times every 3 months as a reminder...
I am honored by that. Thank you so much!
check out Queen Latifah "U.N.I.T.Y" that's where I heard the piece of music playing
Economic plan by Malcolm X, Raximalaah!
I have been saying this all along. Blacks need to empower themselves to create their own companies, jobs, and opportunities.
RIP Brother Malcolm!
I have studied the civil rights movement and our history in this country. I believe in all forms of attacking the problems that we as Black Americans face in this country. MLK's nonviolent movement was awesome and definitely needed. This part that Malcolm is talking about though? We missed the boat on this one. Today we have so much more buying power and I think that it's time that we began to pool our resources together to really start building up our own communities instead of being scared of the people that look just like us in our own neighborhoods. This message is SO relevant today and I hope we wake up at some point and show strength that we have always had throughout history. We don't need ONE leader. We need to ALL BE LEADERS!
MLK = sell out selling weakness to his own ppl
That "putting the cart before the horse" line is great! Books on economics, investing, finance, etc. do exist! It is probably just a matter of reading enough of the good ones. Knowing is not enough however; the knowledge must be applied! The young blacks are of a "confused" culture. Knowledge of the source and the self must take hold. That destroys the confusion! Malcolm X was awesome; he would also have made an outstanding attorney!
Shit doesn't get anymore real than this.
the song is called Unity by queen latifa
An Absolutely Brilliant man - years ahead of his time. If his words had been acted upon there would be a different world outside today.
Ryden Arbuckle I totally agree with you.
God damn. This is truth every fucking day of my life. Supervisor but still a damn slave and I can't shake that shit feeling..... It doesn't help that family ain't family!!!! Malcolm's words is truth!
i go into the hood and all I see is gas stations, corner stores, nail shops, now the vape shops, cell phone stores, beauty supply stores. All owned by no one black. only thing we open up are churches and liquor stores and hair salons/ barber shops. Some of these black barber shop owners should own some beauty supply stores get their own merchandise for cheap and supply the community in which he lives instead of the Asian man taking our money and not spending any of it in our neighborhood.
The most suppressive entity in the universe is, "Self-Hatred"
Thanks for sharing this. Bro. Malcolm's words are INFINITELY TIMELESS.
I love this video, it literally changed my whole way of thinking!!! Great video BROTHER J
***** I deeply appreciate that connection family!
Brother X Thank you Brother X, Malcolm had that same affect on me as well.
You welcome Brother
***** It was a combination of Windows Movie Maker and Adobe Premier version 8
Play this for motivation & absorb a new message every time I listen to it
Here's what I think caused a decrease in black businesses. In many black people's minds starting maybe around the late 60's-early 70's there became less of a necessity for blacks to own businesses like we did during segregation. During segregation it was necessary for blacks to have a black owned this and a black owned that because blacks had fewer options for where to shop, eat, work etc. When integration started in the 60's the necessity of having to have black owned things became less. So there became a de-emphasis with blacks as a group to own businesses like we did during segregation.
Today when I look at Black-America I think one of our issues is that we are still adjusting to integration. What we haven't sorted out is how much of our job opportunities need to come from black businesses? How much needs to come from white businesses? How much of our job opportunities need to come from gov't jobs? How much of our money needs to be spent with black businesses? I think blacks still haven't sorted out these questions since integration came and this I think explains some of our problems with business ownership, jobs and black business support.
Soooo true my sister! I always shop black first, Raised my daughter in a black school she is currently attending an HBC & knows her history! My husband & I are doing our part, trying to make a difference!
It's still necessary
+Christy White are there any colleges that teach black business at hbcu schools
Black business? Really not sure about that although my daughter has begun her business classes this semester. I will ask her and let you guys know asap

I am going to listen to this daily
I've been playing this video over and over for the past 3 weeks and have been completely pumped to Do something. I have been researching a lot on group economics to.I plan on one day becoming a land developer and building a community somewhere for my people that are getting displaced BC of gentrification all over our major cities. I am currently in school for urban planning. I just wanted to first get some comments from some of my brothers and sisters on here on what would be the first course of action in building wealth so when it is time I have the available capital to do so. So my first question is what should I first invest in? Mutual funds? Real estate?
What state do you live in?
Florida
I would recommend reading Dr. Claude Anderson's "Powernomics" if you haven't already. There are also RUclips vids of Dr. Anderson's speeches, so you those as a resource too.
As for investments: Mutual Funds are good for building *individual* wealth in the future, which could be useful in enriching a community or at least your own family. The downside to mutual funds is that you almost always end up putting more money in white corporate's pocket. If you can find (or *create*) a mutual fund or ETF that's solely or mostly composed of Black businesses... pounce on it and let me know.
Real estate could prove to be a more helpful investment if you know what to build on it. I'm sure you already have housing in mind. We could also use basic amenities like grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations, etc. Black folk would also need somewhere to borrow money to build houses and open stores *without* getting raped by interest, so Black community banks and credit unions also come to mind.
I also live in Florida. PM your email; we need to find more like-minded people and put in some work.
Jonathan.m.hill09@gmail.com. thanks for all the info. Yeah I have been reading up on a lot of that stuff already as well as powernomics
Jonathan Hill I've been doing the same for the past 7 or 8 months, we have to empower ourselves. I'm in Florida also lets link
Thanks, Brother J. You've Given me the last piece of media I needed to launch an initiative. God Bless
Kevin Hamilton Anything I can do, let me know brother. I am glad I was of service to help you achieve your goals. If you dont mind brother, keep me informed of your success.
This man was a genius
Great video I will save this for my son he's almost 2yrs old
Always come back to this to correct my behavior. Thank you brother Malcom!
Imagine Malcolm X was a highschool dropout and he had such an in-depth understanding economics at a postgraduate level. Someone has to say that Martin Luther King was not the right civil rights leader he led black people into a life of white dependence while Malcolm would have led black people to excellence.
the legendary Malcolm x. A master teacher.
The economy is very important I am practicing buying from black owners so far I have stopped wearing big fashion brands because I dont want to put all that cash in the hands of some European fashion designers nahh fuk dat we got more important business we need to handle
POWER TO THE TRUTH......MALCOLM SAYS IT BEST!!

Great video, our movement for the future must be for Self-determination and black empowerment.
@Brother Jay: I really appreciated this! Absolutely wonderful!
This is awesome, Brother! You've earned a subscriber!!
Powerful Video! The stats at the end gave it a great touch!
It would be great to have another "Malcolm," however he gave us all the blue-print to become and remain self-sustaining. Open our minds, let empty ego and arrogance go, including "mouth." Maybe, just maybe we would see a change.
Big brother you hit the nail right on the head peace to you and your family.
2021 still true today. Black people stop sleeping!!!!! You will never have Political or People power without Economic Empowerment.
Black Minds Matter! Black Minds Matter! Black Minds Matter!
One thing I always admire about Malcolm X , he never sugar coat the plight of our people in America and around the globe . M
AMANDLAAA!!! DAVID!! HOW TRUE!!
You're exactly right Xavier RIP Malcolm X
Our dear brother....Malcolm X!!!
thanks for allowing me to listen.
Brother J, this is another great video from, Brother Malcolm himself he laid it down straight with only the truth.
thanks for the video Brother J it was a good 12 minutes of my time much luv im subbing so keep them coming :)
This message should be taught to today's youth. They are deep in the habit of spending on money on non black owned businesses, taught by their parents (and everyone else they grew up with) who work for non black owned companies. The need to be taught on how to go into business for themselves besides getting a job and how to invest in their neighborhoods economically.
*Thank You Beloved*
Love this! This is inspiring and goes hand in hand with my own group's mission to not only spread the word but BE THE WORD. Please let me know of any projects or funds that you are apart of so my group can support it! Thank you for sharing this!!!
love this video - thank you
This is still relevant today. God bless this man.
great track from Latifah and great message from Brother Malcolm... the only economic solution for Africans in America
Thanks.
Tremendous truth
You're welcome but also thank you for always teaching, and better yet - showing how to build up and not tear down. There's nothing as a people, that we can't do, when we are dead set on it. Time is running out though. Life is no joke and it's not playing with anyone right now. Blessings King.
Namaste
Great message!!!! Love it!!!
Now this is a great peace of knowledge right my brother. I hope you get a million views on this one.

I agree with everything that Malcolm X said it was true and very honest think about what you said.
Great video my man
Voice of a real man
This gave me spiritual chills. I appreciate his intellect it is such an eye opener. On a side note, ya'll know it's spiritual warfare. They got ammunition to last for months, be wise Children of the Son🌞, and take it to the Lord in prayer. We can restore our communities through Christ🙏
PROPHET MALCOM X
