In 05 I purchased a new 1 ton 4x4 Silverado Lq4 6.0 with the 4L80E transmission 8’ box. I put over 170,000 hard miles on that truck before I gave it to my son. That truck has to this day over 230,000 miles and still runs just like the first day I drove it home with only a few hundred miles on it. Best truck ever. My 2016 Silverado 4x4 3/4 ton 8’ box is following in that same foot prints of my 2005 Silverado.
