Took me a while (even though your instructions are good) to figure out which setting made the camera image fade away while driving. I think the setting is oddly named: "LCD brightness". The clue is that the setting is "Off, 10sec, 20sed, 30sec" -- so why is brightness a time setting? because they really mean "LCD Fade out" -- I set for 10 seconds and now am happy.

I dont like the blue mirror dash cams, makes it hard to use as a mirror,(you can see this all over this video, imagine looking at your rear view mirror and seeing faded blue image) and the screen images are too dim during the day.

The naming is dodgy because 95% of these cameras are Chinese made, meaning the translation is not always correct
Can any of these replace the actual mirror, and TIE INTO the existing mirror power? (auto dimming rvm's for example of a powered mirror)

I agree, that bulky mirror that straps to your old dashcam is no good.
