My 350X and my old 1985 250R, like one person wrote, your scared, your pumped, and man do you love it! I know theses are dirt bikes but trikes fall in the category. This guy takes me back to my 250R.
My whole body started vibrating when you revved that thing up. First ride on my CR80re I was scared, I was excited, I was maniacal. Man you never stop chasing that feeling.
I love how excitable ALL you guys are about ALL different cycles. Man, you guys the best job in the world. All these bikes are the ones I dreamed about as a kid.
My first bike was a brand new 1984 RM80. Just listening to this CR scream going by brings back such great memories. Long live the 2 stroke. Best times of my life riding with my friends out in the country in the summer during the mid 1980s. One had a Honda 200 3 wheeler, one had a KX80, one had an XR80 and me on my RM80. We were all 12 and 13. I'll never forget the feeling flying down dirt roads and trails out in the woods. I'd do anything to go back an re-live even one if those days. Keep up the good work! Everyone agrees, These vids are amazing!
LOVE these old Honda CR vids, thanks for the walk down memory lane. My first moto x was a 1980 Yamaha MX 80 which was a dud BUT my next ride was a 1980 CR 80R Elsinore and it was a RIPPER and the sound of the 2 stroke powerband is a melody like no other!!! Thanks again!
As a young teen, back in the 80s, this was my dream bike. I spent days and hours at my local bike shop just mesmerized by this bike, but sadly; due to my family being poor, and no resources to pool my lawn cash together to make a purchase, it was a dream that never came true. Later, I set my eyes on the '85 XR350R, but again, another dream that had to be put on a back-burner. Regrettably, as time went by, I moved and my lifestyle and family demands kept me from getting any CR or XR that I had dreamed of owning. But of all the bikes, the '83 to '85 CRs and XRs have always been my obsession. Maybe, someday, I will buy one just to work on and restore, but it is unlikely that I will ever get the real chance to learn to enjoy any of these bikes the way they were truly intended.
You what type of watch do you have I have so many diamonds and mine the hands don't move see that rolls Royce they gave one to me and Steven Spielberg then they shot the guy who made it
When I was about 11 my dad rebuilt my 2000 cr80r and fabricated a extended swing arm and I drag raced, and hill climbed it and I won the 125 class almost every time I went. Needless to say...they are badass bikes🙌
I hope the Kaplan team brings more of these little 80 beasts back to life. Love watching and riding these awesome machines! On a side note.. a 1992 yz80 would be a fantastic addition to the fleet at Kaplan cycle 👌🏻
My first bike was 1983 Honda CR80. For what it was it ripped. I just got my girlfriend's son a 1984 YZ80. He's loving that bike!!! Got to love them two strokes!!!!

I had the 89 cr80 one of my favorites. Also my sister purchased brand big wheel was the 1990 kx80. I rode that bike for 3 years with no problems. Rebuilt the water pump once.
