- Ingredients:
Chicken Thighs Fillets - 400g
Garlic Powder - 1 tsp
Ground Black Pepper - 1 tsp
Ginger Powder - 1/2 tsp
Paprika Powder - 1/2 tsp
Onion Powder - 1 tbsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Lemon Juice - 1 tsp
Oil - 1 tsp
Coating-
Plain Flour - 3 tbsp
Breadcrumbs - 1 cup
Egg Wash - 1 egg
Method:
•In a bowl, combine the chicken pieces with all the seasonings. Mix well to ensure the chicken is evenly coated.
•Cover and let it marinate for 15-30 minutes to absorb the flavours.
•Place plain flour in a shallow dish.
•Beat the eggs in a separate bowl to make an egg wash.
•Put breadcrumbs in another shallow dish.
•Take each marinated chicken piece and first coat it in the plain flour, making sure it’s evenly covered.
•Next, dip the floured chicken into the egg wash, allowing any excess to drip off.
•Finally, coat the chicken in the breadcrumbs, pressing lightly to ensure the breadcrumbs stick.
•Lightly oil the air fryer basket or tray. Preheat the air fryer at 200°C (400°F) for 1-2 minutes.
•Place the coated chicken pieces in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they’re not overcrowded.
•Cook at 200°C (400°F) for 10 minutes. After 5 minutes, flip the chicken to ensure it cooks evenly on both sides.
Once the chicken is golden brown and crispy, remove it from the air fryer. Serve hot with your choice of sides or dipping sauce.
