That was unnecessary to insult Elizabeth. Alyssa is the one who reached out to Elizabeth. If she admires and respects Elizabeth who are you to make negative comments? Keep your nastiness to yourself. You make this already depressing country even more miserable than it already is.
@@kerri759 you don’t get it. Elizabeth, Megan, and I suspect Alyssa aren’t so much cast for their political beliefs. They are cast in the hopes that they’ll be disruptive. The shows producers prefer a panel that’s likely to clash an argument rather than a panel that gets along. I suspect that was largely why Jed was spontaneously let go and replaced with Megan. Once I don’t like Jed’s opinions, she seemed to have an easier time getting along with everybody The same cannot be said of Megan and obviously Elizabeth as that tape recording proved. So no muscle isn’t being nasty. Nasty is yet to come because the producers prefer a show reminiscent of the real housewives rather than the OG view cast.
@@antmagor Meghan was cast because she was a nobody who's father was a somebody. She was a nepotism hire and she used white privilege and tabloids to stay on the show. The producers and cohosts greatly regretted the hire and they asked the new ABC News president to get rid of her. Alyssa was hired because the producers, the new president, and the cohosts waited an entire YEAR (instead of just giving away the seat like Meghan and Abby Huntsman) to find a fact based and level minded person like Alyssa. You really don't have a clue what's going on
I like this woman being example of putting your money where your mouth is. She has owned up to everything she was a part of while in the administration she worked for. And people have the right to not like her for that but at the end of the day she was just doing her job. I do appreciate how she holds her self I like that she’s respectful so not only the other women but the other woman’s point of you. We can all learn a little bit of maturity and empathy from someone like Alyssa
I liked Alyssa because I feel like she can express her point of view with dignity and respect, even though her point of view is different from mine. But she really won me over when she told Kellyanne Conway, “ I swore an oath to the Constitution, not Trump.” Politics aside, she’s a loyal American!
I was skeptical at first because of who she worked for, then The View came and watched her a few times. Over the course of 29 appearances, she has proved herself to be worthy of a seat at the table. I felt she was authentic, respectful and remorseful especially when her times at the White House were mentioned. Also, I was impressed with how she clapped back at KellyAnne. She will be great!
Thank you so much for picking another diversity higher because it makes me feel so empowered and just so much better as a liberal as if I'm doing something great for people below me.
She is completely right, when I saw the first episode with her (I watch the news a lot, so I knew who she was immediately) I was like wtf?! But I did ended up liking her once I felt like I got to know her
I do think she brings a welcome, albeit different, perspective to the table, which honestly gives the table overall more credibility. If the show leans too left it just comes off as propaganda
She's basically pitch perfect (& does *mesh w/ the rest of the cast) which for me is like 3/4+ of it! BUT only 'flaw' imo is she's actually too soft, apologetic at x & caves too easily. Red flags but we'll see. Still think Tara Setmayer was IT. Whip smart, charismatic, strong, likeable, clicked w/ the cast but did NOT back down. The debates she had w/ the other women got fiery but were respectful, no snotty eye rolling (like the dire Meghan) etc.. Lindsey Granger too but.. dunno. Something about her didn't work. Vapid, lacked charisma/energy.
Alyssa is beauty and smarts combine her legs are iconic she deserves that seat but I’m worried she might be boring Megan and Elizabeth gave good tv with their tantrums
It blows my mind - Alyssa is obviously an intelligent woman, but I’m just trying to wrap my head around how she can praise someone like EH. As that woman is INSANE. Batsh*t. Bonkers. And how can she go in blindly to working with the trump administration. How did she not know what she was dealing with from the get go… if she’s not totally hypnotized like the others. That is what I find baffling more than anything
I disagree, I think more republicans are like her, and less of the ones who are on the far right. Same with left, I think less people are part of this whole "woke" thing than it feels like in media.
@@edwinamendelssohn5129 the idea is to representant the country - or else you might as well just put communists and right wing extremist there and really have a blast.
Alyssa is much smarter than Elisabeth, she doesn't need any advice from her!
I agree!

Unlike Elisabeth, Alyssa actually comes prepare and doesn't just regurgitate talking points like an automaton.

Congrats to Alyssa I hope she stays true to herself, and means what she says🙌🏾
GREAT addition to the hosts! The group needs a little push back on some topics.

Iron sharpens iron. Love her attitude
I'm a dem and still I am impressed by AFG. She's just smart and seems to have a good heart.

Ana Navarro deserves an official seat. She has been a dedicated contracted co-host for years.
I’m so excited for her to join The View!
Congratulations 🎉
Nooooo don’t tell Joy u are afraid of her.
That’s not going to matter. Alyssa is a great fit.
I'm a dem and yet I would not mind seeing her actually run for office. This is the type of person who'd be good to see on the other side of the table.
They should have also chosen a Trump lover- that would be a real mix
I think I can deal with Alyssa, I dont think she will come off annoying like MEghan, and Elisabeth. will see
I like her but those horse veneers...

Abby Huntsman 2.0

Big no to Lizzie.
Alyssa Is awesome. I can’t wait for all the Trump tea she’ll spill.
She was such a terrible choice 😔 it should’ve been Lindsey Granger.
I liked that she said she likes to disagree respectfully. With her, we won't get a whining immature spoiled brat.
well she ain't disagreeing anymore!!

Iron does sharpen iron. But she appears to be more aluminum.
Get rid of Alyssa, please! I will stop watching, right now if you don’t. Here we go again …

No Alyssa will not do well with viewers. We've seen enough of her already. I will not watch.
Getting too crowded at that table.
Agreed. They should've just kept Joy, Sarah, Sunny, and Whoopi and Ana as a co host

Sunny is not intimidating because she's not as smart as she thinks she is.
