The actual name of this music is The Gael. It was written by Dougie Maclean, a Scot about 2 years before the movie, "The Last of the Mohicans" came out. Trevor Jones scored the music for the movie and I've never heard of that Randy guy. The important name to remember Dougie Maclean a well known Scottish musician and composer. Having said all this, I still like this arrangement.

This song, everytime I hear it, no matter who performs it, brings me to tears. the loss, the love, the forgiveness, the emptiness, the world, nature, EVERYTHING is felt in this song.
