The Yamaha SY and Roland JV lines of synths are vastly underrated. Phenomenal machines whose preset banks still show up from time to time in music. There's something very rich about the sounds. The acoustic instrument sounds aren't realistic but are pretty close and distinctive in their own right. The synthesized sounds are inspiring and conducive to rich chords. Warm but not muddy, bright but not piercing, novel but not unfamiliar:) There'd be no rock, pop, soul, hip-hop, jazz or house music without gospel:)
@@aresoltero SORRY, but you could't be more wrong. You can MIDI learn every single knob slider from every parameter. and map it to your hardware controller. Been listening to this demo for the past 3 days, finally got it and on sale too. Such a sick plugin, you really capture the magic with this one, and phenomenal playing!
AWESOME once again! I REALLY appreciate what you do for us keyboard players! These sound libraries are AMAZING as a person who NEVER got the chance to play /own the original hardware Thank U for this!🙏🏾💪🏾😊
@08:59; @09:40 -- I understand that "heaven-on-earth" rush🤩you just got there just playing it, but Imagine THAT sound in 1992! ! was a teenager keyboardist and we had a rich (sic) younger "gospel group" in our neighbour church at uni, who had an Sy99 plus a DX7, while in my "traditional" church we still used an antique "cathedral type" organ - 3 manuals and bass foot keys galore. I was crying with envy everytime their choir played, disliked those guys for being so lucky!!. We eventually got over all that (got some cheaper PSR alternatives), but that's how this keyboard was and remains IMHO yamaha's best ever, all considered. Great memories, thanks for the video
Great work, Jamal! You recreated my fav synth!! Thank you so much! I was playing around with it, and I added a stereo spreader and a preamp plugin for the harmonic distortion to make it sound like it was plugged in, and it sounds amazing!
Brother Jamal, yet another amazing display of amazing and passionate artistry. Thank you for creating such inspiring tools for us to create. Can’t wait to get my hands on this. Jodeci still remains one of my favorite R’nb groups of all time and the genius of Davonte Swing definitely makes sense now because of those rich warm sounds.
I really get inspired by your playing man. The passion you have for these things shines through your work. Blue Beast, TGX-99 and FM Tines in their 2.0 versions are all killer with their own GUI. I play these for hours and actually use them for my tracks, as I'm a sucker for those 80's/90's sounds. I have yet to try the TGX-85 though. Thank you Jamal
Jamal, man, I'm watching your video with John Mike. Bro, you are an inspiration to me. In your testimony, I see parallels to how I came up as a musician. I first heard about you from a friend, mine named Gene Butler(drummer). Then you came out with the tutorials and the software on the Ipad. I have bought almost everything you had to offer on the Ipad. But your story is the most inspiring thing I've heard in a while. God bless you and your family. I pray that one day, I will be able to thank you in person for the apps and for your ministry. I'm going to encourage people on my channel to purchase all your products. Keep up the good work, and I can't wait to see what you come out with next, hopefully some brass apps, but that is just me thinking out loud. God bless you man 😀
Thank you for the demonstration. Especially thanks and really big respect to show your incredible chord progressions - great to learn it or to help to find the new harmonies. Strange that the GUI lack of the third mod wheel )) P.S. In love with my SY77 =)
i bought the blue beast , the fm tines , and the pure synth joints , plan on getting the tgx 99 and the sensations too are there any courses for music theory or learning now to play cause i cant play im trying to learn so i can play in church someday

Jamal, is there a link of when you had (PJ Morgan) at the piano and having him demonstrate different piano concepts (especially "playing outside" really dissonant, then reeling it back in), is there a link to that outstanding interview & demonstration?
Hey Jamal, Can you please make a Gospel sound pack just like you did with the MOXF 10 years ago, but this time for the MODX plus/ Montage? That would be awesome! All of your products are one of a kind!
YOU LOOK YOUNGER - YOU DID SOMETHING. TELLS US PLEASE, IF YOU CHANGED : YOUR DIET, YOU GO TO GYM, YOU SLEEP MORE HOURS - WHAT YOU DID IS WORKING GREAT !
Jamal can you please design a live vst to help musicians seemlessly switch betweeen sounds. The only thing the montage has is seemless sound switching over pluggins. Is there a vst for this.
We have already done this 5-years ago with MKSensation Xtreme. You can use your keyboard to switch between sounds by using Patch Learn. We've already built what you are looking for. See Here: ruclips.net/video/hXcP1roIA-c/видео.htmlsi=X2UWRUkqzPNvdT5a&t=191
Sounds great! Although lossless compressed is the way to go, how practical do you think it would be to have an HQ Lossy version available, using MP3 samples at 320 kbps or (my fave) OGG (OGG has a crisper top end compared to MP3 or AAC)? I'm a FLAC boy all the way, but having a smaller pack size option could be super useful in certain situations. Thoughts?
No, sorry you misunderstood, LOL. I read that you use lossless compression. I was just saying that, ALTHOUGH lossless compression is awesome, could it be useful to offer the sound packs in a lossy format for those who lack space for the big packs? I'm a huge lossless compression fan and wish WAV was NOT the standard. You are doing it RIGHT. :)@@GospelMusicians
@@drinkinslimOh ok...Please do your research...Lossy format is lesser quality than Lossless and in our experience, we have never had anyone want a lower quality format. We definitely will not consider that and most people load our sounds on external SSD anyway and 90% of the desktop users are not worried about disk space. We would never use a lesser quality to save space, as our sounds would not sound the same.
Cool cool. I agree. It's interesting how a number of people will say MP3 sounds indistinguishable from lossless. But we both know different. I use both mobile and desktop for creating music. Even on desktop I'm always about saving space. 👍@@GospelMusicians
