I can't get over how badly those insanely expensive buildings are constructed. There's shrubbery left, but the houses like they were made from cardboard dipped in kerosene. NOTHING is left. You would think a 5 million dollar house would at least have fireproof walls, but no. It's all just plaster with pretty wallpaper. No stone, no iron, no safe materials. Just shoeboxes with paper roofs.
They're not poorly constructed, the pure incineration to a white ash is not the result of a natural phenomenon at all. These houses were torched at scorching high temperatures that melted glass, rubber, and steel, an impossibility from a natural brush fire. Something far more evil hit palisades that fateful night. You can see at 0:40 that the houses have clay terracotta roof tiles, popular in California. They are burn proof. But it doesn't help if the rest of the house catches on fire. theyre probably sitting in the ashes unburned.
