- Here is how I’d price a new B2B sports tech company.
First, I’ll jump onto Compare Sports Tech (www.comparespo...) and get a feel for what the industry pays for services like yours. Make sure to check beyond price-look at where the company is from, what market they serve (elite sport vs. community), whether they charge per user, if it’s upfront, etc.
In our last video, we spoke about organising interviews with those you know in sports. During your time with them, I’d ask what they’d expect to pay for your product.
When coming up with your price, be ready for clubs/orgs trying to barter with you. After all, it’s your first few deals, and your estimations might be off. If you feel you and the client are a good fit, don’t let your pride get in the way. Be ready with alternative options (normally marketing partnerships in exchange for discounts).
