'MOST underated' is arguable for every contender and no one can qualify Certainly within the tiny number of serious contenders who realistically could 'though [Often they were billed as 'The poor man's Moody Blues' - OK so they lacked a 'Nights in White Satin' - They were way superior overall] Incidentally somewhere around here on You Tube is a tribute to Woolly Wolstenholme from his keyboarding (mainly with BJH)
I discover this band and song in 80’ working in Scotland and lost a dear friend 22 years ago in LA the same way as this song …..tuff and i leave in Florida now ( from France) … to James for ever ❤
Hey! To you and to anyone feeling similarly down - Hang in there There is a trap - When you're in it you can't see a better way out What that is seems to be different for different folk BUT (Caveat - except with terminal illness as cause) *There IS always a better way out than ending your life* ......... ALWAYS One of the best first steps if you can face it is to let people you can trust know (Failing that Samaritans or similar organisations)
Very sad and poignant song. Makes me think of my best friend who took his life a few months ago. I had no idea and still wake up at night thinking "What if". So sad.
für mich einer der besten live band,s ..der welt .. leider nur 3 mal live gesehen ...dafür aber in berlin... ..jeden tag höre ich einen song... von BJH
Très grand groupe belle musique que des merveilleux souvenirs

If you and many others listen to these lovely songs for so many years, they were never alone
Fantastic song & superb performance by John Lees
Je suis un fan de ce groupe encore aujourd'hui à 67 balais... Comme moi (rire) ces musiques ne vieillissent pas . C'est simple j'adore!
Masterpiece. Barclay James Harvest forever!!! ❤
Diese fantastische Band packt mich an meinen Gefühlen. Herzzereißend.

What a song ❤ perfect
Beautiful and heart rending .
his voice sounds like silk ❤...
John has written some real classics
Fantastic version!
Magnifique morceau
The saddest song ever.
Strong contender
I might go with Family's ' Weaver's Answer' for its grasp of existential tragedy & hope 'though
Quelle belle époque musicale. BJH vu a Nice en ????? Concert magique
absolutely impecable
Wonderful
so so schön .. ❤
Uma pintura de musica
Definitivamente, e com o melhor artista de sempre, John Lees ❤️
Quand il joue la musique nous emporte...
So ironic that not long after this Wolly the keyboard player did indeed do it....such a sad loss
I didn't realise. How tragic. I saw the band in the 90s with Ackroyd and Lees. Fantastic.
@@lazylaurablue Very sad, wasnt his first attempt, we all need to be more aware of peoples mental health. ps I think you meant Holroyd not Ackroyd.
Awesome
Its hard to believe a song about suicide could be such a brilliant song. John is an absolute amazing song writer ❤
magique
interesting up picking technique to get that precision
The worst words of this song: Dont jump ! Please for god sake, let me move my car !
❤❤❤
is this song for real?
Obviously, you've just listened to/ watched it
@@craighill4709 Are all your thoughts concrete craig?
Suicide un répertoire qui fait du groupe un son planétaire...
