I like your flower painting.😊 I purchased a different gouache set also from Five Below but my set mainly are dark. I also added a small drop of glycerin in a spray bottle because some of them were sort of drying and shrinking down. Which really helped. I wasn't expecting much from them but I like them. I mainly got them for the box which so I'll use them for practice and messing around. For example my set came with the follow; Yellow Brown looks like Lt chocolate Blue also Lt but not super Orange Green Purple Pale pink (looks almost peach) Pink Red Dark red? White Black I really like some colors in your set especially the lighter color like the blue, yellow and purple I'm almost tempted to go looking for that set. Almost. 😂
I have had this set in my hand a few times at five below, but I always end up putting it back. The colors look a lot nicer than what was displayed on the back! I did buy a set of dual ended brush pens at five below recently that are really great! I think it's their dupe for the tombows.
I tend to use them both exactly the same way. I don't use this five below stuff, but artist quality gouache. This set would be better if they left out the pastels, which can easily be made, and put in opposing temperature primaries.
I love the 5 Below supplies in general for my 3 and 7 yr old granddaughters…they love to paint especially when I paint. More than worth the $5 price!!

I bought these months ago. I was so frustrated opening them, that I haven't used them. I will have to dig them out.
