    I grew up with both of these from school and what Fabrice said about Rashid is true. This guy was a very good baller. Rapid and skillful and we all thought he was gonna be the guy to make it big but it just never happened for him on a big level. Fabrice always had the physique and engine but rashid was sick. Fab always gets ratings from me though. Came to our school and didn't speak good English, learnt fast and was always cool and managed to make it whilst being humble. just a shame with what happened but the main thing is that he's still alive and has a loving family and is doing well.

    • @the_one_the_only4651
      @the_one_the_only4651 2 года назад +16

      @A If he really was a 15-year-old who was the best "on the ball" at the whole club - including the first team of the 2003/04 Arsenal Invincibles side (Henry, Bergkamp, Pires, Ljunberg, Vieira, Ashley Cole AND a young Cesc Fabregas) then there is NO WAY you wouldn't be playing professionally no matter how bad you are off the ball; something that can be easily developed with a bit of good coaching and practice over time. That's what academies are for: nurturing talented but raw young players and helping them become the finished article. A 15-year-old better on the ball than every player who was in that Invincibles team can't be far off Lionel Messi in terms of talent. They'd be playing week-in-and-week-out in League One at 15 at the VERY LEAST, as perhaps they're not quite ready to face the rigours of the Premier League at that age and it would be better for them to develop at a lower level before making that step up. What's more, there is literally NO EVIDENCE of Jeremy Lynch playing for Arsenal's academy. No photos, no footage and nobody other than himself has claimed that he was ever at Arsenal - which we now know is probably not even true.

      @georgipetkov6340 2 года назад

      @Delboy it's different from coach to coach. The things said to me was that I sometimes looked like a professional player in terms of playing and sometimes like an amateur. They told me that if I could become more consistent in my own play during a game i should show up 6 months or a year later. I was 16 at the time but chose a different path and a different club. They even told me to come back the same season when we played against each other a few months later but I refused and stayed where I was. Few years later I dropped football but not all coaches will straight up tell you you're not good enough. So maybe he was not lying about it. But I still highly doubt they told him he was the best on the ball from the entire club.

A kid getting released from Arsenal academy and teen getting released from Arsenal are very different thing's. If your a teen playing in a youth team you'll be on scholars, be training 5 day's a week. Be getting paid a wage, living at the dig's and be sent to a private school the club pay's for. A kid playing in a academy train's 3 day's a week. Has their kit's provided to them for free, and play's a game on the weekend.
