If I am not mistaken, Phil Ward's Merc 190E was originally one of the Group A cars that raced in the 1986 James Hardie 1000. Ward bought the car from Llyndon Riethmuller in 1988 and drove it to a class win at Bathurst in 1990 with John Goss.

@@GP_Alessio15 yea the first one he raced in part of the 1994 Super Touring season which was not competitive so he brought a 1992 DTM car used by Jacques Laffite. He converted it to 2.0L and had some more significant speed.

THis one was from the 1992/93 DTM series EVO2 originally 2.5L.
