Nicely done! Yeah it's not a nice grind but feels good to be done. I'm a fan of the Crypt Great sword myself 😎 I hope you put it to a lot of use dude >=D
Oh god yeah, definitely but at a certain point it becomes such a tedious task like all grinding its like, what can get my item discover to a decent point but I can still play lazily? This was great in Dark Souls 1 because you'd just pop 10 humanity. I swear 2 had some of the worst drop rates. Less so in SOTFS but that could just be my personal luck. I was hunting mad warrior offline for a whole week to get his set hahaha
Glad we could help man. There are other methods but I wanted to make it accessible and easily repeatable because I at least upgrade a bunch of weapons to try em out so other probably do too
You need to light 4 torches in the entrance to Aldia's Keep and then exit, refresh at an outside bonfire and when you head back in the Dragon Skeleton may or may not do something =P Afterward you should either get or be able to pick up the key (Assuming you're playing Scholar of the First Sin) ~Shade
Im in ng+ and i went through aldia's keep today, didnt meet a single one of these dudes (I Just runed to the gardian dragon but still). Do i need to do something specilal for them to show up ??
They are still dropped by Dragon Acolytes so you should be fine, just the enemy placement is different. I think there are more behind painting? As long as you are in the Covenant of Champions they shouldn't despawn and you should be fine 😉
@@Aaron_Smith No probs man. I played a tonne of classic so if anything I remember that set up of enemy placement more than SOTFS. Scholar is better/easier but I remember my Thing Betwiskt having Falconeers haha
@@Aaron_Smith I think it's more that the grinding areas are more specific. One thing remains the same though, and that's once you get to Giant Lord, just use the bonfire aesthetic you pick up before him to reset the area after you beat him and thats an easy few hundred thousand farm grind. Once like lv80-150 and you can handle yourself easily, enemy placement doesn't matter do much anymore 😅
Despite the low drop, i've finaly have my Crypt Greatsword at +5

@@DudeGoBack again, really appreciate it
Did they change this in softs? I've killed countless and none have dropped any for me so far.
Nah dude, just the drop rate is super low. You want some for if the Gold Covetous Serpent Ring for sure

@@DudeGoBackI didn’t even find those stairs and I’m still on my first playthrough, I only have the fore garden bonfire
Does this work in base game aswell?

@@DudeGoBack you're a God gamer if you find scholar easier, ther are so many more enemies I'm scholar and bosses are annoying to get to like sentinels
