Yeah, the lyrics change depending on the region.
Probably so it rhymes with the accent because in the European one they all got British accents and it could interfere with how the song sounds

They really reused the Tomodachi collection synthesizer and it still sounds so bad for a synthesized voice I mean the other ones suck too but no changes are shocking I bet there are some a bit.

If i had a 3DS at home, i would made Metal to be about all VOCALOID producer names, Ballad to be about brainrot, Pop to be about PoPiPo, Opera to be about Tabasa from Red Earth/War-Zard, Rock & Roll to be about Touhou, Techno to be about Hatsune Miku, Rap to be about Street Fighter, Musical to be about Higurashi, and if i got the JP version, Enka would be about Naruto.
